I didn't see this in the topics as of yet, but I'm guessing it would have sooner or later. I'm hoping one of these is at least made for Beta Testing soon, hehe.

http://dualis.1emulation.com/ - Nintendo DS emulator in progress. There are no emulators that can actually be of any use yet, though.

Hehe. There probably aren't even any Nintendo DS Roms available as of yet either. I can understand there not being a working DS Emulator yet though. The system did just come out not that long ago. EDIT: Just checked out the DS Emulator progress, not too impressive really. Nothing I'd call Noteworthy at least.

I think the ROMs are out, actually. We just need something that can play more than one game.

There's already 250 DS Games?! Wowie. I know there are that many for the SNES, but wow. Sheesh, that system just game out this year. Guess I better start looking for them for when a working DS Emulator finally surfaces. ;3

There are so many ROMs because you can play them on actual DS.

Wowie. Been a long time since anyone spoke of a DS Emulator. I can only hope that one is made available soon. Guess I'll search around a bit. A Functioning DS Emulator has to be around somewhere. :3

I've used "ideas" for about 30 seconds, and the emulators are on their way to being useable. Out of the two roms I tried, only Castlevania:Dawn of Sorrow worked, and worked is a term to be used loosely here. The game ran at all of 20 FPS, the sprites' mask colors hadn't properly been coded yet, so there were big black boxes around everything, and the 3D textures were washed out. Dualis, as of yet, still isn't able to read .nds files, but it seems like it and ideas are the most promising.

Hehe. I just hope they add in Controller Support for these DS Emulators. I noticed that emulator too. A few of them do seem promising of being ready soon at least. ;3

Naruto RPG 2 works pretty well in the newest IdeaS. Touch screen support's still being worked on, and the sound wasn't there, but it was playable. People have been saying they've gotten the (E) rom of AW:DS working, amongst other things. Since Dawn requires touch screen support to a fair extent, it'll probably be one of the last games to work properly. Wario Ware will NEVER be fully supported, and I doubt Resident Evil will be either. At least not Jill's half. Microphone support and all. At present, DS rom count is 383.

It can play SOME games, but it doesn't play them very well unfortunately, plus there is no sound or controller support. ;/ But, it is a good start for an emulator. ;3

Haven't tried it so far. But I'm sure they will keep progressing with features etc. :)

By me nothing work. :-( I look into the compatibility list, but the Demos I have try will not start. The screen stay like it was as I start the Emulator. Maybe it work not on Win 98 or my PC is to slow. But I wait more minutes with no screen.

Some cool guy made a DeSmuME version with savestate and sram [preliminary] support! And it's open source, so... might be re-recording when DS emulation gets fine! I hope that happens before the next time Halley comet shows up... The Binary The Source (by the way, the above links didn't work for me, I got the emu when I used THIS ONE

Unfortunately, none of the Emulators work very well for me. They are all too slow for my computer. ;3 Plus they never seem to have Controller Support. So I weill wait until a good emuator is made. ;3

Well. It has been a while since anyone has posted on this thread. So, I thought I would take the initiative and ask of anyone has found anything about DS Emulator Progress, such as if they are able to effectively run games like the New Super Mario Bros. ;3 I do hope there has been progress lately. :3

I'm curious, though it might to a little soon to ask the question. Since the Nintendo DS can render in full 3D, would it be possible to view one/both of the screens in a much higher resolution than the native console? Just as many Nintendo 64 emulators allow you to put it at 1280x1024 or something else higher than the real N64, could it be feasable with 3D Nintendo DS games? I also realize that published AVIs on this site are only accepted at the console's native resolution, but for those who use the emulation movie file, it's not a limitation :P
