I'm affraid I'm going to give this run a NO. :( I base this on the following notes: * You don't use expert mode * You miss alot of shots against ALL bosses. * You can kill enemies to reduce lag * You can in some places take damage by enemy shots to reduce your health and thus, reduce time. * Plan weapon drops better. And don't take so many because they increase your health, and health is a BIG time waster at the end of every boss stage. * Your goal was to kill as many as possible in the flying stages. But I think you failed this goal as you could have killed alot more! * Bad boss-manipulation. Especially at the mushroom where you could have forced it to randomize three hearts on the sloot machine, thus giving you more time to kill it faster! The best thing I find in your run is the funny glitch where you make the guy die at the very same time you take the invincibility thing. :) Thumbs up for that one. Also I think you should have used two players instead of one player as you would have more firepower at the bosses and could preform alot more stunts etc. Even though you evaded enemies very good! There are some WIP's done by me and some other (which I can't remember who it was in the writing situation). Check those WIP's to get some more ideas. My run is not flawless either. Far from it. My goals was not set as I started the run. And it was mearly a test. Anyways. Hope you will continue to work on this great game with these notes in mind! Thanks!

At first when I saw this headline I was absolutely thrilled! But Highness managed to destroy my very short happiness when he voted No for obvious reasons :( Its such a shame that a game like this has not recieved more attention because I really think it is a highly underrated game. Damnit can't someone run this game? Highness? Anyone?

I would love to. But currently I have stalled my 2p run because of two things: 1. My run is not optimal. 2. I don't have much spare time. But I promise that I will make a 2p run! The question is. Would you guys want to see me finish the current run which is not super-good? I mean.. The weapon drops could be better planned etc. Do you find it entertaining enough already so that I could have a chanse of getting it published? Otherwise I won't feel it's worth to continue the current run. :D I am half through the game in the latest WIP found in the genesis thread. A thing that I wonder about though, did you vote YES AngerFist? Because currently there are only two votes. My no-vote and someones YES vote. :D

Wonder who it was that didn't motivate the vote?

Great question. It'd be nice to be able to vote only if posting, so that you can't have unexplained yes/no votes, especially since it seems that one person constantly goes around voting yes to every movie... -- It appears there's also another unexplained yes in the Ranma movie thread just below this (at the moment, at least). It would be nice to know who is doing this... maybe Bisqwit could check and see if it's always the same person(/people)

It could have been the author, you know, although it could just as easily have been anyone else. (I think there was a similar problem before with lots of movies almost immediately getting an unexplained No vote, not sure what became of that.) About requiring an explanitory post to vote... sometimes the reason for your vote has already been well-explained by others, and it'd get pretty redundant to keep voicing the same opinion.

Strange that not many seem to have comments about this one anyways. The interest of this game being made was kinda large at some point!

First I have think this is Wonderboy in Monster Land. Then I saw the short time and the game discribtion with flying Stage and walking Stage. So I was sure this is not the great game which I have think before. But at all the game looks good. The run is too not so bad as I first have think after I read the first post. I see too, that it is not perfect. Most I think too its better to defeat much more enemies in the walking Stages, because the lag was very big in some Stages and the game was very slow. I have not much knowhow about the game itself, so I don't know if the Bossfights are bad or good. For me the Boss fights looks good. But I vote nothing in the moment, because I am not sure what I should vote. When I have not read the first message I would maybe vote yes or meh.

No. An autoscoller (which this basically is, even though you can make it scroll at a different speed by holding right) needs something more than just get trough every level to make it interesting. Also, I very much trust Highness' when it comes to this game. I could tell there was a lot of lag and you had surplus health at pretty much every level.

I, too, think it should be done 2 players, more accurate on bosses, in expert mode, and need to kill more lag enemies and take some hits to reduce score time on the end of level. What else? Make the flying level more interesting, taking all the enemies isn't the best approach, or maybe it is, you can shoot at the last moment.. and the ring can be more useful from afar, if I'm not mistaken... I'd vote NO, but I don't know where to vote yet, new here =P And I really don't think Highness-san maked fun of this run, many people can tell these mistakes =P

But it's strange that three years have passed and no one finished & posted the 2 player run yet,... maybe I'll start one myself, and in 2012 it will be ready =P

I could probably do a 1-player run. I think it's faster because there's less shooting and therefore less lag. Bosses have invicibility time, so other player would be of no help at all (comedic sidekick?). Plus, it's easier to TAS, no need to use your feet to control P2 :F My test run was made without frame advance, so bosses are improvable by a lot.
