Anyone consider doing 1080 snowboarding? I didn't play that game too much, but There's nothing like it on the site. Just a thought.
Do not try to bend the spoon, that's impossible. Instead only try to realize the truth. What Truth? There is nospoon. Then you will see it is not the spoon that changes, it is only yourself

I wouldn't mind seeing this done.

It would seem that every trick attack level would be using the lien air++ trick scheme to get huge bonuses off of nothing. That would be really really boring. I wouldn't mind seeing some time attack mode with Pandaman on the Penguin board, though.

If anybody is interested I can post a little TAS I made of the first level in contest mode. It's nothing spectacular, but its funny I guess. At the beginning I mess with the oponent a lot, like going up to that cliff at the beginning and intentionally crashing, coming down on top of the oponent and stuff like that. I also use a glitch to fall off the course where you aren't supposed to be able to and then get warped back to where I was. I then have to race pretty well to catch up, and barely do at the end, at which point I do something funny to crash into him, making me barely win, or even better, making him bump me across the finish line. I tried a lot of combinations but I couldn't find one I really liked. One that I'm thinking I should have kept was where I got our snowboards linked together somehow and he dragged me to the finish line. For some reason, I won. I thought it could be better though, but haven't been able to make a better ending yet. If there is interest, I'll finish it up, maybe even do the next course...and post it here. If there's no interest however, I don't feel like finishing the level and such.

I'm interested in seeing what you have, but I wouldn't recommend taking it too much farther. Remeber Genisto's playaround of Mario Kart Super Circuit, despite being well-made, was rejected because it featured a lot of goofing around interspersed with actual racing, so taking that same concept might not be a good idea. It seems that if you're going to TAS a racing game, the expectation is to put clowning aside and just rip the thing apart. :)

Oh yeah, I know. I really just did this as a test. I never intend to finish it or submit it or anything. I guess I'll go ahead and finish the course I'm on and upload it.

I've played some 1080° recently and calculated the perfect score for Air Make, here it is: http://www.superplayers.de/danielviebrock/1080°Snowboarding/1080°_snowboarding_-_air_make_-_103507.avi :) It's possible to pull off this combo on a real console too, because the WR is 103250pts. 250pts + 200pts tricks at the end instead of 2x 250pts tricks, I guess. You wouldn't risk the extended Indy Nosebone at the end on a real console, though ;) .

it's there : http://www.superplayers.de/danielviebrock/1080%b0Snowboarding/ a lot of points, but lacks originality. no grab, just spinning... hope to see more variety in a time attack ^^;;

I realise this topic is ancient, but I started a mini side project on it (for now, just trying air-make) does anybody still have the video mentioned above? or the strategy used in it? I tried some air-makes today, best so far is a 102850 jump which was 360-720-900, LienAir, 360-720-900, Stalefish, 360-720 another 10-move-combo I managed was 360-540, 180, 360-540, 180, 360-540, 180, 360 I'm still convinced a 11-move-combo is possible... I did a few that failed to land (plus I've seen some landings that didn't even remotely look like they'd make it.. and yet did)

anybody (perhaps zurecco himself :)) know what is meant by 'the lien air++ trick'? google doesnt bring up anything useful (only the get-tricks-easy-in-training trick) any input appreciated edit: ok nvm for the Air-Make... just found out that combos of more than 10 moves dont receive any extra points (other then the 10-move combo and the individual moves). I'll think about doing a match or timetrials

Training mode tricks : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kCGrw_4pljI This game's pretty hard to TAS. I can't really figure out how to optimized the a stick spin.
