I made the transition to Frame Advance, however I was doing 12% for a month and then switched to Frame Advance, you however had a solid 2-3 years of 3% speed so good luck with adjusting, don't worry you'll get used to it and actually find it easier IMO

I wish to share my excitement with everyone that the adjustment (Frame advancing) took less than 20 minutes to complete. Furthermore, I also would take this opportunity to thank xoinx, the three Swedish musketeers Fabian, Truncated and Cardboard, moozooh, adelikat Vandal, Vatchern, Asteron, HHS, of course my very supporting, understanding and near friend and partner Baxter and everyone else who I know in their mind wished me well. Sometimes, it is enough to say simple things as: "thank you", "I apologise", "you will make it" etc in various situations to make a person feel better and I am one of those people so everyone's encouragement helpt me greatly. Im advancing a bit faster (Im sure the speed of my progress will increase with time through Frame Advance) now compared with playing at 3% speed so no more excuses or delays. Edited.

This WIP finishes the first stage of Mega Man 5 and 6 (note that obviously the boss fights still remains) and if you still have the old .avi of the former WIP then I seriously recommend you to delete it because this version is 10 times better than my last performance thanks to Frame advance and other minor stuff. You'll naturally see a lot of weird stuff (slowdowns etc) going on but I can assure you all that all the badlooking actions was necessary to survive and make the run look smooth as possible. That is some seriously impressive stuff AngerFist! Each individual game looked clearly optimized, which is incredible considering all 4 four use the same input. Keep up the great work.

I can't wait to see this WIP, I'm always blown away by something as small as 2 player games, so 4 game input always short circuits my mental wirings. Edit: watched it, you're right after your initial 40 second WIP it becomes noticable that "sloppy" movement starts, where really it's the best way to continue for all 4 games. It still kicked ass though.

I believe, it took me between 1-2 months to complete my part of the first stages but now that Im 100% familiar and comfortable with Frame advance, its pretty safe to say that from now on, when it's my time to contribute, it wont take more than 1-2 weeks before I hand over my progress to Baxter. In conclusion, I think we will progress faster than before.

Good idea but knowing already how distracted people (including us as well) are when watching 4 runs together, I doubt input display will help them. But hey, maybe Kenny is not like us "average joe"!

Since I know all NES Mega Man games inside out (for console playing), I'm more interested in what the hell buttons are being pressed instead of what's actually going on ingame, because in the new trailer I had serious problems seeing any coordination of the Mega Men.

That's right. Since it is a pain in the… everything to try to comprehend all of the games at once (especially since the movements are different all of the time), there's no other choice than to look at one of them at the time. Input display will help to understand what's going on.

That link didnt work in Firefox but does in IE. This project is getting better every WIP :)
