working on a movie that involves a lot of moving diagonally in all directions. however i can't move down+left at all. oh i mean sure I could use it if i use slowdown, but it will not work with frame advance for example, if i hold UP, RIGHT and hit frame advance, it works perfectly but if i hit DOWN, LEFT and frame advance, it will not advance at all anyone else know what the deal is with this?

I have had similar problems using visualboy. Try assigning the buttons to different keys on your keyboard, that worked for me.

I'll definately try it, I got through level 1 okay by whenever i have to move in that direction i'd switch to 3% speed (1% in some cases) and unpause the emulator. that worked okay, but boy is it time consuming!

It's a limitation of your keyboard, that it doesn't support pressing those keys at the same time. You can either: - find different buttons that it allows at the same time - set a separate "down+left" button in FCEU so you don't have to press as many buttons at once - use the "auto-hold" feature to hold down+left for you so you dont't have to press as many buttons at once, or - (maybe) get a better keyboard

Even most crappy keyboards will let you press two keys on your number pad and two keys on the normal keyboard at the same time. You might switch either the d-pad or the controller buttons to the number pad to get around this problem.

It's a known fact that keybaords have limits as to which keys you can press at once. Any two is fine, most of any three are fine (with CTRL+ALT+DELETE being mandatory or microsoft won't put their logo on the keyboard (humour)) but once you go above two, it varies which combinations will work. Your options are to put up with it, rebind keys, or replace your keyboard. Or use a joystick.

Heh heh heh. Seriously, if he is my old friend Phil from SF, I've been trying to find him for years. We worked together at a record store and were gaming buddies back in the Duke Nukem/Doom/Quake days.

It's Phil. Côté and I am from Québec and I haven't seen you in my life. So you don't know if I speak well English. And Philmyfist will be in future SF game. ;) And I would like someone to answer my question....
