The reason for said craziness being the fact that it's basically a vertical shoot'em-up maker with pretty decent tools for editing most of it. The idea would be in the lines of making it a huge cut-and-paste job, where a bunch of people could each do stuff like graphics and making the enemy setups as insane as possible. I showed the music composer in the game to Adelikat for curiosity's sake, and he was pretty interested with it and the idea in general as the composer's far more advanced than the one in, say, Mario Paint. So yeah, in summary, a chance to be both quick and creative and do a ton of menu manipulation in progress. That is, once someone figures out some of the more confusing menu options, even though a surprising amount of it is in English and pretty clear or represented with symbols. Some of the interface such as the background editor is slightly glitched though, so I don't know how much that would affect it all.

Wow that game certainly deserves a place in a corner of my heart... Didn't ever hear about it before. I downloaded a few different roms and, as you mentioned, they seem to be a bit glitchy (in Snes9x at least). Anyway, I'd be glad to create some graphics. I also dig the possibility to create your own tunes... Gotta check that out as well. Well nothing more to say about it... It would make a very original TAS for sure.

Yeah, I noticed that certain transparent effects like boss lasers don't work right, triggering them in some way results in every such effect being offcenter, worst of all being the graphics selection indicators in most every menu. It seems to be most tied with the default setup of the first level for some reason.

Hmm, apparently the offcenter bug is caused by going into the map editor, must be the resolution changes and whatnot. Oh well.

Tried to pixel a little space ship today which could possibly be used... Still need some more practice, so I might come up with something better later.. this took me ages. The side views are still a bit sloppy :(
