Toribash is a new, free, 3D fighting game which normally plays at frame advance, and has built in replay saving, and rerecording. I'm not sure if this belongs in other games, or off topic, but because the game is done at frame advance. Either way, this is what the community is best at doing, so here you go.[/url]

I can't make the guy to do anything except fall over in a hilariously ridiculus fashion. :P Yeah, I suck.

The idea in itself is cool, but it's way too hard to control the fighters in any rational way. It's way too chaotic. It gets boring pretty fast because of that.

too complicated in my humble opinion ; interesting, but a simple thing such as preventing the character from falling is too tedious. you have to let some parts of the legs loose, some tighten, then add spring to other to give impulse etc. 0.o;;; in fact, it lacks a tutorial, and a feature to watch replays with command on screen (just like the emulators here) frame by frame, to learn how to do the basic things.

The easiest way to keep from falling over is to start moving. It's much harder to keep your balance standing still.

Thread resurrection! Really, you guys should give this a second chance. Once you get used to it, it's an amazing game. Nothing quite like ripping an opponents arm off and beating them with their own severed limb.

Once you get used to it, hampa releases a new version with slightly changed physics, and you have to get used again...

I like how the program doesn't come with an uninstaller.

it doesn't seem to make any changes to the registry... it simply extracts the game into a choosen folder. if you want to uninstall, just delete the folder.

Double resurrect! Try the game in it's current form and I do believe you'll find it entertaining and subject to challenges. It's currently available as a full-featured demo save the lack of saving replays, and the physics won't change any more. It takes maybe 3-4 hours to get the control system down, and another year or two to master, quite a nice game.

We gave up on it when the idiot decided to charge a full game's price for what's essentially a program toy.

FODA probably owns at the game already... I saw one of the replays bundled with the installer from him (see king-tekken2.rpl)... racked up an insane 200k points :S

Toribash has been updated to version 3.1, now it supports shaders, mods, and the online mode is much more robust with acquirable visual upgrades and such http://www.toribash.com/
