Hello all ... I haven't seen that game in any genesis' list now, or i miswatched ! Well, i tried a little timeattack (not complete anyway) because i really used to LOVE that game. But its my first attempt on any game, so i don't feel that comfy yet. I almost lost myself in my save stats, etc etc; and had to redone all the movie that i made. And since my memory is bad, my paths might be wrong ( What was I doing in this secret area before the horizontally slipped level, hahaha ! ) Well i have to look for more info about that game, pahts and glitches. Just watch that little movie if you enjoyed that game like I did, because its not the perfect one ! If anyone is interested to help me about paths or anything thats wrong (and explain me a little more about movies under gens-test), that might be great, i 've lost all my paddle skills for more than 8years now :] > http://perso.wanadoo.fr/humpf/jamespond-112.zip And yes the rom used is " James Pond 2 - Codename RoboCod (U) [!] " just like in the subject ;]

Just found that on a website : Super jump: Hold C + B + Down for a few seconds. Release the buttons to perform a super jump. Hold the buttons longer for a higher jump. Dunno if its in the manual, someone still have it? ;] Its jsut look like a cheat for me.

i f***ed up my movie so many times when i got confused and try to "resume movie at savestate" and give the savestate before the movie name or something else that it will take much more time for me to complete that :] ( im not used to that savestates/rerecord philosophy yet :/ ) THINK ABOUT MAKING BACKUPS ! <== quote for myself i think im gonna raise up the "number of rerecording" record. bah, some posts would mentally help me tho. ;] ( is it possible to only "edit" a movie between two savestates? ) *anyway, pond is sexy*

Don't worry about being confused. Version 9 has a nice GUI for movie recording and it warns you if you try to do something illegal. When you resume a recording with a savestate, it erases all movie data after the loaded frame. To "edit" a movie between two frame. You'll need to make two movie, the later one using "Play with savestate".

James Pond is the first game, and James Pond: Robocod is the 2nd. just wondering if anyone had any interest in running these games. i havn't played these games in over 10 years so my memory is a little fuzzy on what they were about, or even what you had to do, but if i remember right they were fun to play. also i remember that robocod was nearly impossible for a kid to finish. in fact i dont think i made it past the 2nd level much less finished them. just a thought though. EDIT - just played the 1st game and everything came back to me. you have to do random underwater missions (being a fish and all) like save all the lobsters from being taken by humans by getting keys (1 at a time) and unlocking the cages.

I have some dream-like memories of having played these games as a kid. I would love to see them since of what I remember, it was a fun game.

I'm very interested in seeing James Pond -games done since I remember playing them as a kid. I think it was on PC though. I can remember these were fast-paced and very Zool-alike. As Dark Mana suggested, I remember these being hard as well. Fast pacedness should make for an interesting movie.
