Old run removed. Don't bother. I have a new run of this game in progress. No idea when it will be done, but hopefully by the end of THIS month.

Impressive. o.o Any plans for other shooter games? There were only about five thousand made for the console, after all X.x;

I've sort-of started on Thunder Force 2... in the top and even the side-view levels, 100% enemies is NOT possible, so don't expect that. I have a copy of the X68000 version though (yes! the original), and the maps in the top-view levels of it should help me get through them much quicker. (He says... that Egyptian Ruins level was always a convoluted bastiche.)

Kinda fun, but not that impressive. It stopped after a few stages. I assume that was intentional. Are there any upgrades you can collect? And am I crazy or did this game have top-view stages?

My 2nd try for a game run, I haven't really finished it yet though it took me 2 days already, cause I guess I need motivation or some comments about it to actually finish it up >_< (it drains my energy quite fast too) By upgrade, do you mean those upgrade that increases my speed or weapon? If it's weapon, there is, but I didn't collect them cause I did not plan to shoot at any enemy (except the one you saw at 1st and 2nd stage, cause it's unavoidable to die without shooting at them, my bad >_<), if it's speed then I dun think there's any, or rather there isn't any. I try to make it look like the enemy's gotta hit me, and I escape from it... (it is real during making but the outcome is not impressive at all :/ ) I certainly believe mine is not as impressive as minamoto's gradius or tviks' gradius 3 for those stages you've seen, but I've no idea if I can push the physics to the limit at a later stage, cause those bullets either flew slowly (probably 2 or 3 times around it perhaps), or too fast (not even half a round... ) and my ship is limited to the 4 speed bar, I'll try my best >_< And no, you're not crazy :D The game have a top view background, which i think it's cool :D though I prefer Thunder Force 4 (which I'm still a noob at it) ^_^;;

Note that I've already done a run for TF3 here: http://tasvideos.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=429 No there are no top-view stages in TF3 or 4, they only appeared in TFs 1 and 2. Note that KamiKaze is going for a PACIFIST run.

Surprise that you completed this in 5 hours. it took me 4-5 days to even go through 3-4 stages and I wasn't even satisfied for my own run... :/ Your re-recording counts and your holding of autofire seems a little....

no no no, he doesn't mean top view stage... he means top view background. Example, pay attention to the fire stage (I've no idea on the names). Look at the background...

> Your re-recording counts and your holding of autofire seems a little.... YES YES ALRIGHT!! I'm quite aware of this by now, thanks to Bisqwit and Bob Whoops. I am making another run, it will slaughter my original in terms of accuracy. Talking of which, I am taking the old run down. Probably for the best.

Have fun, please do your best! :) (Hmm, I'm not actually sure what is the proper polite encouragement towards good work in English. In Japanese it would be "ganbatte"...)
