I am currently experiencing two problems with my new computer and snes9x, the only thing I can think of is that it is related to dual core. So are there any dual core windows users that have either gotten snes9x-improvement9 to work properly or improperly? If so please post so I can either confirm or deny the cause. BTW the problem is that in auto frame rate at speed 100%, it runs at exactly 1/2 speed it should (30 fps). Also the sound is messed up and when I play a smv it crashes unless I uncheck the option sync samples with sound cpu. Oh and even with sound disabled it still runs at 1/2 speed, so I don't think it is sound card related, but maybe.
g,o,p,i=1e4,a[10001];main(x){for(;p?g=g/x*p+a[p]*i+2*!o: 53^(printf("%.4d",o+g/i),p=i,o=g%i);a[p--]=g%x)x=p*2-1;}

Works fine on dual core on linux. Not sure about Windows.

I've been playing a myriad of snes workbench stuff on my dual core 2.8 without any trouble for the last year or so. ONly MK2 has given me fits.

I had the same problem with my 4400+. If you're using a Intel Dual core here is the fix: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/896256 AMD's dual core optimizer includes that fix here: http://www.amd.com/us-en/Processors/TechnicalResources/0,,30_182_871_13118,00.html
I think.....therefore I am not Barry Burton
