It still desynched, even though I loaded the .m64 after the title screen came up.

Using the right plugin? In windowed resolution in jabo, select 848x480 or something similar and load it after the copyright info appears, don't wait until the title screen is over because it is actually loading there too.

I don't have the TAS input plugin installed - is that the cause of the desync? Because right now I am running it in 800 x 600 res, all the video and sound plugins are matched up, and I loaded the movie after the copyright appears, and it still desyncs.

I'm not sure but it shouldn't be, where does it desync? If you mean falling down the side of the building, that was intentional and unfinished. Try this one out, I should have just completed objective 2. Before anyone asks, the route is intentional, as I need to kill time anyhow but I want to get out of the floors of the building quickly before the guy gets ready to go up the elevator. http://www.divshare.com/download/79646-342

Those who sees this must accept that TAS'es almost skips the whole game..

It desynchs at the beginning where Joanna is typing stuff in a computer, so she ends up spinning around in circles in the Carrington Institute. By the way, is this done on perfect agent difficulty?

I installed the tas input plugin and the first mission managed to boot up, however you pressed start after you fell down and hit the railing on the side of the building, was that intentional or was there more to the .m64 that I missed?

As I explained twice, that was supposed to happen, try out the 2nd file I posted.

Nah, that's two serious hickeys right there. the guy really gets along with the ladies real nicely. by the looks of this, it seems that you're filling in the 1 minute well. random killing of guards in GE/PD never looks bad.

Trouble is that there is only two guards that I can safely work with (and I still have to hope the guy can't see me in the current area). Since this mission is probably the only time it is needed to go for entertainment mostly, that isn't good. So I'm playing in realish time for a change. Well, getting out of this room is tougher than expected, keeps desyncing after so many tries to kill the second guard (for some reason) so I may have to kill him while jumping down or just leave him. Okay, almost done, just need to do the download and drop.

yay! I can only imagine how painful it was to deal with desynching, optimizing everything, and making the programmer trick work. I congratulate you, and wish you the best of luck for the rest of this run. (based on my observations from WR vids, future levels should be fast and awesome to watch. IMO, you're through the most painful part.) time for the newbishness: "OMG WIP PLZ!!!!"

Uploading a video now, I've included a free mp3! Dual audio, the-elite style! 2nd audio track is in game sound. See if you can spot the cheese twice. No prize if you do. http://www.divshare.com/download/110128-e5b

Thats pretty cool I like how you just fall down the sky scraper and enter points relavent to the objective, although I must ask why couldn't I get any sound.

Great video. I saw one cheese, I didn't bother to look for the other. You made playing around with the guards very fun, as was shooting the helicopter thingies (whatever they are) out of the sky. I've actually watched the-elite's vids with music playing over them, and I personally hate it that way. I'd much rather prefer to hear the game itself. also, the video is 2 hours long?

I had an idea. Would anyone like to see the Multiplayer Quest done? I would be interested in doing that. Maybe using 2 Players.(or more depending on lag/demand)

Which sound, there is two files in it, I know it's sorta hacked having dual audio .mp4 but I don't have any mkv tools that can handle h264 in avi (I captured it with that). Try installing this http://www.cccp-project.net/download.php?type=cccp and use Media Player Classic that comes with it. To get the in game sound, right click one of the icons that appears in the taskbar and choose the other audio option.

You mean co-op or multiplayer challenges? Either would be awesome.

Multiplayer challenges. I will do a test of the first challenge with 1 person.

Finally a video! Keep up the good work, this is my favorite game of all time. However, why did the final mission time say 1:57 when the world record's 1:24?

Hopefully it won't get too repetitive during some of early ones, but it should go by fast if you know where they spawn. laughing_gas: I know that, it really sucks I can't do this level in an attempt to get a wr time, the guy just doesn't want to not see me through the floors. Those videos are like 3+ minutes with the opening+speech skip.. so just went for real time.

I believe the Sonic games focus on in-game timers instead of real time. But this is okay, since the cutscenes are long and boring.

if you send me the .m64 I can encode an AVI... I justed tested encoding with MK64 and came out with a pretty good vid, so I think I can produce something of good quality with sound.
