Not that I managed to keep up with what happened there (been ages since I've played the game) but it looked good from what I managed to keep up with. It's kind a run that leaves the viewer with "wtf just happened!?!"

Which in my opinion is the ultimate TAS. I'm looking forward to seeing more progress. :)

Precisely which ROM did you use for that? I'm using "Perfect Dark (U) (V1.0) [!]" and I'm getting a "Bad Country Code" error and a desync as soon as the level starts.

I'm using anti-ds, I have the right rom and all the settings match up with the video, but it desyncs in the menus and gets stuck in "select a file to delete". Any idea what I'm doing wrong?

I had no problem watching it using the Perfect Dark (U) (V1.1) [!] rom and the same plugins that was used in creating the movie, think I used the normal version of mupen also (not the anti ds one)

Personality is expendable in this case. In other Perfect Dark news, Perfect Ace has beaten a shocking 24 WR's.

Alright so..I got a little bored by desynchs while trying to Co-Op Investigation. So instead i decided to try out single player. And after struggling a while with the programmer seeing me everywhere i finally realized that it wasn't an emulation error at all and is in fact very easy to prevent. Just don't kill guards in programmers path. He sees those, not you. Fortunately he doesn't care about knocked out guards, only killed guards. Anyways, I ended up with a low 1:15 which is 8 seconds below current world record: http://download.yousendit.com/0662D62F1E7EC88A

Hey good job. You should definitely complete the whole game and submit, it'd make a very awesome TAS, especially as many of the future levels you can really shave off a lot of time off the WR's.

Okay i just encountered a pretty big problem, after the green completion screen appears and you press A, the blue screen with next level appears with Accept and stuff. But no matter what i press(At the decline/accept/replay screen) the game doesn't proceed. The background music is still there and plays forever while your waiting for something to happen. I've had this problem before and i have no idea how to solve it or prevent it. It's strange though that neither L4yer or myself while doing Co-Op tas had this problem. It worked just fine then. Though i did use version 1.1, dunno if it makes a diffrence(i'd hate to be forced to redo on another version..), not sure what version L4yer used either??

I'm using anti-DS...and it DS'ed. Apparently the ROM's country code is wrong, but I can't seem to find the right version...* *Not that I am asking for the correct ROM nor asking for a location that will distribute the correct ROM nor suggesting you supply the correct ROM.

It's simply Perfect Dark (U)[!] v.1.0 (NOT 1.1 like the co-op run). So if you've got that version it shouldnt be complaining...?

well, not quite. I have right rom. Using the right antiDS mupen. right plugins. (rice 6.1.1) but the game goes kaputsville at the Perfect Dark intro screen. It never goes past it at all. the frame count will go way higher than th3 movie frame count, and I can never enter the menus at all. I tried using a different plugin, but it desynched after the guard text skip.

Okay, so yeah, I was using v1.1 instead of v1.0. Fixed now, and I was able to watch it... Looked very clean and fast, and I hope you keep going with this.
