Okay, here is Thunder Force 2, utterly conquered on Hard mode, in 18 minutes 39 seconds. I say recommended AND "utterly conquered" because I pulled out all the stops here, and there's some truely mental flying going on in this GMV. Not to mention a couple of the levels in this game are unforgiving as hell... So, hope you enjoy it! http://www.chis.nildram.co.uk/misc/thunderforce2_ju_!_hard-chis-gmv.zip Yes this is more my forte. Another World taught me as much! :P Note, this requires Thunder Force 2 (U) [!].SMD/ZIP, and be sure to set Gens' sound playback to 44100 hz !!

Well, I've found: Thunder Force 2 (E) Thunder Force 2 (U) [!] Thunder Force 2 (U) [h1] Thunder Force 2 (U) [h2] Thunder Force 2 MD (J) [!] Thunder Force 2 MD (J) [h1] But not Thunder Force 2 (JU) [!]

Weird, it just changed the options, then went to the title screen and just sat there. edit: Ah, I guess I had to wait about 20 seconds. Was there a point to that, Chis?

Yes, it just sits there for me, too. I was quite looking forward to this game, too. I own and love this game, though it's not quite as hard as chis is making it out to be.

Ok, movie de-syncs in the second level.

Any plans for a Thunderforce IV run? The bosses in it seem to take forever to beat down. Maybe it's just the general lack of powerups... That or I'm just MISSING them all. Dumb vertical scroll.

Title wait is intentional. Enjoy the music! Locke SET YOUR AUDIO PLAYBACK TO 44100 hz!! Thunder Force 4? Of course! Just, not yet... it's a heck of a game to tackle... Xebra: be patient and wait for the GMV to start :P. As for the difficulty, you've either played this a lot, or you've only played Normal. Hard IS hard, especially levels 5 and 9. And don't even think about going near the X68000 version unless you like your games to be impossible!

Odd, never would have thought sound would desync a movie, but oh well. Also, if you are going to submit this as an official timeattack on this site, the title pause has to go :)
