For the c64 is the lemon64 site which have the biggest C64 library which have informations from the most available C64 games. At the moment I try to record the most and importanst game from the c64 for historical reasons. Every user can vote for a game so the Lemon64 Top100 is a good guide which games are important to made a longplay-video. I want made an similar project for other computer / videogames but search a objective list from the importanst/best NES title. Knows someone a site like lemon64.com for the NES ? My active project is www.c64-longplays.de Greets Monty

impressive runs list Monty, glad to see your site is still alive and very active. lots of good games. though, are you re-doing the detailed list there was previously on your site ? length, description of the game, a screenshot ; it's quite hard to know what the games are without those informations. did you cancel your old site ? anyway, glad to see there are good, complementary sites of TASvideos. keep up the good work dude !

The absolute best according my old C64 magazines is "Little Computer People", but I don't know if it would be interesting to record a video of it, as it plays like a (much better) Tamagotchi. EDIT: My personal favorites are the beautiful "Sindbad and the Throne of the Falcon", followed by "Archon" and "Snake Pit".

Yes, the old site was cancelled and the longplay project restarted. I doesn`t like the quality from the old videos anymore so I play all old longplays again. (or let them play). The problem with the site is that I have no idea from HTML. The actual site is made with an cheap freewareprogramm. the old webmaster had no time to make a new site so this is the best what I could make. But I think the sitelayout is not so important. The videos are direct downloadable and the filesize is not such great. It`s more for the historical reasons, I think for other informations and stuff there are much better sites. So I concentrate the most work for the videos himself.

Never knowed Sinbad but the pics in lemon looks cool. Is that an adventure or more an Jump N Run game ? Archon comes with the december update. Archon 1 and 2 are here as savestates from other guys. edit: Little Computer People were nice for an longplay. It`s not a game for an regular walkthru but one of the popularest games for the c64. This video would later cutted after 10 minutes or so. But just for the historical reason it's an interesting game.

Sindbad is a mix between a strategy game, and an action-adventure game. There is a Pc version with uglier graphics, but the fights are easier to understand. The strategy part can be accesed from your emerald. You must move the princess guards to protect the tower from the black ¿vizier?. You can't beat that part of the game, the purpose is to gain you enough time so that you can finish all your travels and return to the tower. I've never beaten that game, because I did something very stupid when I was returning to the tower and died crushing the ship with a rock. That mini-game shouldn't have appeared, as I used the right wish for the genie, but it seems that it couldn't be avoided. :(
