I guess Vista is the problem then... Anyways, Nightwatch is done! End time: 1:01(6 seconds below wr). I have to say i'm very pleased with both the result and the tas'ing itself, i have no desynchs and it was very easy to aim in all shots. I will probably do Midnight departure as well, it's a long and slightly annoying level but i really want to get to masquerade which is another one of my favorite levels. However, I'm not so sure if i'll go any furhter than that for now, the last 6 levels are VERY long with tons of guards, i just don't have the motivation for that right now(If someone wants to help and do some of those levels/Midnight departure then taht would be awesome, assuming i can get the m64 thing to work of course which doesn't seem to be the case now..).

Wow, that looked great. I had actually gotten as far as the second fuel dump in CR (I'd been killing pretty much every enemy), but the constant desynchs got me too discouraged, so I pretty much gave up. Anyway, will you be working on this constantly from now on?

Well depends on what you mean by constantly, i mean i do alot of other stuff and i wont tas unless i really feel like it. But as it is now i'm pretty motivated to do at least 2 more levels, whatever happens after that i dunno. Anyways, i expect Midnight departure to take a while, but maybe sometime around next week it will be done. Then masquerade should be cake so maybe 2 days more for that.

Take over? ...oh what the hell, I could use a slight change from Goldeneye. I'm fairly familiar with city of walkways, maybe I'll run through the level after work tonight for fun and see what happens. Any vids available at the elite of the level just for a reference?

Most TWINE vids are only available through getfile. Also, i already did up until the lift, so you might as well wanna start from that file: http://download.yousendit.com/9561E5234AE43F26

COW 2 Done! http://download.yousendit.com/E516DF8578C156FE End Time: 2:05 I'm not sure how optimized the chopper is, since i have no idea how much you have to wait between each shot for it to actually do any damage(In this case i made a rough guess on 40 frames). Also i could've gone for more ammo after 8th missile, but instead used up my ammo and then went for more, not sure which is faster(could also have used all 8, then get the other 8 ammo at once, which might've been the fastest method).

Looking good. Wow, that helicopter takes a lot of rockets to kill. At the same time, it also seems amazing that you took so many hits on CoW 2 and managed to survive, I somehow remember dying being alot easier in this game. Your use of jumping on CoW 1 was really intuitive, I certainly would have overlooked about half of those places if I'd actually gotten a chance to complete the level : )

Sinking Feeling done. Though not gonna post WIP this time. Anyways, Meltdown should be a pretty straightforward level so i suppose you can expect a submission by tommorrow.

Run completed. Got a problem though, the movie file is much larger than 150kb(1,82mb zipped). So how exactly should i proceed to get the movie submitted?

I thought microstorage had a limit of 2 mb. EDIT: forget that, movie submit page isn't linked to microstorage.

If you want to email the file to me (PM for address, to avoid spambots), I can upload it to my FileDen account, which is appropriate for uploading .m64 files and has a 50 mb limit. Well done! I respect every author of an N64 run 'cause they're really hard! Cheers, Franklint

Uploading the .m64 to TASVideos itself is required for a submission, and it only allows a 150kb or less zip file.
