Description

The Super Nintendo version of Aladdin was developed and published by Capcom. Unlike the Sega Mega Drive version of the game, the player does not equip a scimitar. The storyline more or less closely follows the plot of its namesake, the Disney full-length animated motion picture, with Aladdin going from a street rat to a prince, who first woos, and then has to rescue, the Princess Jasmine. Most levels and stages of the game will be readily recognized by people who have seen the motion picture, but there are a few levels that have nothing to do with the movie - including an Egyptian pyramid and a surreal world where Genie - dressed in a tuxedo - serves as Aladdin's guide. The game features renditions of the soundtrack from the Disney motion picture, as well as several mini-games dependent on the player catching a golden scarab or collecting all diamonds within a stage. An extra challenge involved finding 50 red diamonds throughout the game. While they weren't necessary for ending the game, the credits screen changes slightly according to how many diamonds were collected.

You can leave this submission as uncanceled, and Bisqwit can just replace your movie file with the new one you've given him. This is encouraged instead of canceling and resubmitting in order to reduce the artificial inflation on the number of submissions, I think.

You have to give Bisqwit the specific URL for your file on microstorage so he can find it. Microstorage is used by a lot of people here, so there are a lot of files on it. Edit: You could also upload it somewhere else. Bisqwit just needs the file, however he ends up getting it.

Not a problem. Don't forget to uncancel this submission, too :) (You can do that at the same place you canceled it)

Very good. More than a minute off the published run, that's a notable improvement.

Hmmm, is there anyway to remove the NO votes from the polls, since the reason for the NOs have already been addressed...

Don't worry about it, judges read the thread and realize stuff like that.

Just saw the updated run. Don't have much to say other than it looks great. I'm sure the judges realize that I would now vote yes if I could.

Aww Jasmine and Aladdin look so cute on the magic carpet. Too bad they skipped the part where she TOTALLY GAVE IT UP TO HIM. A lot of controller-input music playing and such, which was a very nice touch :) Also this game looks pretty tough to optimize with the way that cape thing is done. Vote yes.

Now that it has been accepted i vote yes for obvious time saved. 1 minute 07 secondes to be precise. It is more entertaining than the last and faster. I guess its a good reason. Do i even have the right to vote on my own run :D

I wouldn't vote on your own run since it's (to me) not fair as it's a biased opinion but since it was accepted already it really doesn't make a difference.

The screenshot kinda spoilt it :(
Then maybe this screenshot would be better. It's either Aladdin holding a giant rock, or walking in lava, witch one should i choose?

Hmmm, this one is pretty cool, I would vote for this rather than the lava one :)
