Post subject: How does RAM Search work ?

I'm trying to find some usefull value in Shining Force 2 and I want to see what have changed between 2 frame, I'm using RAM Search, and I use - Different value - Previous value And get a couple of result, but the value and the last value are the same ? Why that ?

RAM search compared previous value (the value at the last "check" of the RAM search) to the current value, and then updates the previous values to the current values. By "different value", maybe you meant the "different from" or "different by" radio buttons. These can be used to narrow your search. For example, if the value you are looking for is something that you are pretty sure has changed between "previous value" and "current value" you can select "different from" and then click the search button. Or, if you are pretty sure it increased or decreased, you can select a different search constraint and further close in on your value. Oh, also: DDRKhat, shut up and stop being an ass.

It's maybe a bug, but it seems like the value does not refresh when you load a state, on the next frame, there will be an update of the value.

The "previous" value is the value that the location had the last time you hit the search button. So the current value and previous value will always be the same after you hit search, before advancing to the next fame.
