Survival Kids. http://dehacked.2y.net/microstorage.php/info/3832/survival%20kids%21.vbm While I didn't use any savestates, I did use a handy guide I prepared for myself when doing a speedrun of the game. Besides the myriad menu mistakes, I made some small route mistakes while exploring. In addition, I took a fairly long time to eat the food. I should've gotten food earlier and used it before I got hungry, or even just not gotten food. Also, I had horrible luck with the radio. I HAS A KAT! (By the way, I can, in a TAS, manage under 10 minutes.)

Urban Champion. I also recorded a Megaman3 movie, but turns out I didn't record it after all. Too bad, it would have been bad.

Nekketsu Kakutou Densetsu beaten in about 1:20:00. There were lots of rematches, especially against the final bosses. (A few times, I had to kill my AI partner so I could eat him.)

Tetris Attack I should also mention that Bowser whallops me due to a big fat mistake on my part, and then I come back with the lame penguin and kick his ass. Yummy. Also, amusingly, DeHackEd's script spit out an error:
File name is missing an extensions or extension is invalid. Please beat the creator of this link upside the head.
This is funny because it was his own script that did it, so some here, DeHackEd, I need to beat you upside the head :)

Castlevania Bloodlines, using Spear Guy, getting up to level 5-3 before dying my final horrible eye-inflicted death. Highlights include the level 2 boss and most of level 4. Lowlights include just about everything else, particularly the first seven minutes of remembering how to play. Two attempts at a Whip Dude run were attempted, but failed due to me being fed up with swinging myself into a pit on the two autoscrollers on Level 2.

Columns (using "Columns (W) (REV 01) [!].bin") I play Time trial, Flash mode, and a game in Arcade mode as well (which I almost never play). My apologies for the pausing, but my nose was running, and it needed attention, and it was easier to press than the escape key.

http://dehacked.2y.net/microstorage.php/info/3900/100%25Kirby%20Superstar.smv Heres my take on kirby superstar getting 100% completion in one sitting. It took me almost three hours to complete. I do better on the console useing the keyboard is so much harder.

Watch me suck at Rockman (J)! I didn't even get through the 6 bosses before running out of lives. Hell, I didn't hardly survive 30 seconds without dying. Damn I'm rusty at this. Also, Star Fox (U) v1.2 Completes Lv 1 Warped in 11:38 w/ 100%. Though I'm used to actually having time to REACT.
Taking over the world, one game at a time. Currently TASing: Nothing

I decided to comerate my favourite mario game of all time SMB3 with a run. Not to shabby but I certainly could have done a lot better had I managed to preserve the flower in some way and avoid deaths although I tried to put emphasis on not dying in autoscroller levels. looky looky

A run of Elemental Master (U) for the Genesis. I gave up after dying about three times. This is actually my best run yet in this game, which is odd as usually I use save-states. IIRC I paused the game briefly at some point to get some soup as I was hungry. Or maybe I made an in-game pause when I wanted to tinker with the volume. You'll be able to guess depending on the length of the pause if it's there. Linkage

My first time playing Sonic 2 in years. Forgot how much fun it was to play this game. And as an added bonus, me trying to remember how to play Sonic Battle. The file was made when the rom first got dumped, so ignore the filename that I added to fill space.

I beat SMB2J again, only this time without powerups. Yes, I'm insane like that. =P Though I found out the hard way that "record from start" doesn't include the FDS save ram, so this will desync on the original rom when I try to go to the letter worlds after beating world 9. >_< Use Bisqwit's 24-star hacked save ips patch, and all will be Peachy (lol pun). There were 21 deaths (not counting killing myself off to get out of world 9), most of them in C-3 (due to me not being able to prevent Lakitu from glitching out a needed springboard) and the hammer brother levels (8-3 and D-3. Typical SMB1-engine hammer bro BS =P). That resulted in me having to use a couple of continues, but right now I don't really feel like going through it again just to make the run look better. XD

http://www.cgi101.com/~jman2050/s3kcasual.zip After a lot of deliberation (2 seconds worth), I decided to play Sonic 3 and Knuckles for the heck of it. The run turned out relatively terrible. I died 6 times, some of them not being my fault really... Also, if there's one thing I learned while running this, it's that Tails is a bastard and that all S3K runs should be done with Sonic alone. Stupid fox... Level-by-level impressions Angel Island: First act was good, second act was good, even did the somewhat risky quick kill on Robotnik. Hydrocity: First act was good, second act was okay. Made some stupid mistakes. Marble Garden: I hate this zone. First act was good, second act was merely okay, with one death. Carnival Night: First act was near perfect. Second act was meh. Ice Cap: First act was pretty good, and I elcted to take the bottom path using the wraparound glitch. Unfortunately, a fluky death put me back on the top path, defeating the purpose :/ Boss was terrible. Launch Base: First act was good, second act was good except for the bosses. FU Tails. Mushroom Hill: Both acts were done almost perfectly by my standards. Flying Battery: Both acts were meh, nothing too noteworthy Sandapolis: This zone sucks. First act took way longer than it should have. Second act was fine, but this quite possible might've been my absolute worst performance against the Act 2 boss in my entire life. Lava Reef: First act was beautiful until a few mistakes in the end. Second act was great. Boss was perfect. Sky Sanctuary: Pretty good until Metal Sonic. I tried to rush the fight, and got burned as a result. Death Egg: I never did get the hang of the first boss' second form. Took a bit of luck to finally beat it. Second act was pretty good, but I got a cheap death on the final boss because of Tails again. Argh. Total time: About 1:40. Not my best playthrough of the game by a long shot.

Wizards & Warriors III in about 44:43 I mess up quite a bit, forgetting how many keys I need or where to go next. Nonetheless, I manage to pull off almost all the sequence breaks used in the TAS. I'm not sure why I got the first-level wizard costume before getting the knight one, since making that bee hive thing disappear is one of the easier glitches. What surprised me was that I actually got the trick to work that allowed me to get to the third thieves' guild early; I usually give up due to repeated failures in a normal playthrough. I also found my variety of "deaths" in the third thief test quite funny. I just about exhausted every way to "die" due to those knives and arrows at the beginning.

So what did we learn so far? Well if anything, it's that moozooh and I suck at Contra. This is an AVI file btw (54MB) Lot's of hilarity in this video right from the first level. Take note of ho we screw each other over at some parts, especially in the waterfall. And don't get me started on boss 4 owning us >_> EDIT: Oh yeah, and I'm the blue player. EDIT again: More 2-player goodness! Two runs here and here of me and BoltR attempting Double Dragon 2. Both runs eventually downgrae to full suckitude, and we get game overs at the exact same spot. Guess which one :P

My excuse for those game overs is lag! Yep, lag! Also, the first is way more entertaining than the second if you ask me. (I'm the red guy)

Just watched the first, now wondering why do we even make TASes anymore. Your ventures in the undersea base made me cry. XD

Here's me picking up on my existing savefile of Kirby Super Star and getting to the end of Great Cave Offensive. I'd completely forgotten the layout of the thing. Truly some outstanding mediocrity to be had here. http://dehacked.2y.net/microstorage.php/info/4150/NMcCoy-KirbySuperStar-Meh.smv (Why is Kirby Super Star still the most awesome Kirby game in the series? The newer Nightmare in Dream Land engine just doesn't have as good a feel to it, IMO. Admittedly, I don't own Squeak Squad, and I've heard it's got some of the versatility in powers missing from the GBA games.)
