Would it be hard to hack the mupen64's video plugin to render the collision models of mario 64 (or more games, if it would work that way), and not render the stuff that are normally rendered? That is, assuming the collision models are really models (triangles)... Because I suppose some "models" aren't, like coins and stars. These must have a centric/spherical "collision". But the triangle-made ones should be possible to be rendered, and it would help tons to be able to TAS seeing what the game actually is, and not the often deceiving visuals presented to the player.
