I noticed that when holding the fast forward button in Mupen64 and then switched to another window, Mupen would continue to fast forward even if you let go of the FF key. To stop the FFing, just hit the key again. I found this particularly useful, because you don't have to hold the FF key for as long as you need to, and when just raising the speed to 1000%, it's kind of clumsy to slowdown all the way back to 100%. Anyway, just curious to know if this was intended or not (if not, did anyone else know about it?)...it's a little odd feature, but pretty helpful.

I used this 'feature' quite a few times for Majora's Mask WIPs and the final run. Is it not present in other emulators?

I've done this with Snes9x and VBA previously, and I am fairly sure it is not intentional - the emulator simply doesn't see the key being released if you shift focus to another window while holding it down.

hmm... in Snes9x and VBA (and ZSNES) you can also use the "toggle fast forward" options, if holding down a button bothers you.
