I'm looking for MAME32 0.81. I have a cheat file that works only in that version for MK games that this guy has been hacking, and I can't find the MAME32 version after a thorough Google search. If you know where it is, lemme know. Thanks. I never, ever have much luck with Google.

german site :/ , but translated edit: oh, yes, the mcafee site advisor gave this site a green (as in, clean no-spyware/trojans/anything) so it should be safe to download from here

http://www.mame.net/releases/mame081b.zip From http://www.mame.net/oldrel.html unless that's not what you were looking for... (pehaps that's not mame32? It's been a long time since I used Mame on Windows)

MAME32 is MAME with a graphical interface. You can still get a frontend for it, though.
Kirby said so, so it must be true. ( >'.')>

I thought the GUI got merged into the official release at some point though... I could be wrong. Anyhow, yes, any MAME 0.81 version should work.

Sort of. MAME32 used to be developed separately from MAME, where MAME would be updated, and MAME32 would see the same update a week or two later. The two projects were eventually streamlined together so MAME32 would update the same day as MAME, though you have never and will never see a MAME32 binary on the MAME website, as MAME32 is still a separate entity. MAME just allowed for an easy, seamless integration of MAME32's GUI, and nothing more.
