So, i tested some stuff, and you can 1Combo protectos if you aim tornado to his belly and air slash+run slash+ triple combo. This is a lv1 victory obviously. Also, i tried to make a sequence break, using Model L to create a platform on the doors at the elevator in the final stage, but it didn't worked for me, maybe someone else could try?

I think you'd have more chance if you placed the ice platform on the exact same height as where the regular platform would end up. Nice Protectos boss battle, by the way.

how do I watch the movie? if I do "Play Movie" it restarts the game and nothing happens… also don't I need the same rom+emulator for it not to desynch?

It restarts the game and, well, plays it. The movie file has SRAM on it with a completed game. And yes, you need the same rom+emulator to not desynch. Use DeSMuME 0.9.6 with Advanced Bus Timing off to not desync.

I think it's impossible: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8iMlUWoU2Wc it's like trying to enter it after a mid-air biometal change, you are falling (or on a falling surface) so it doesn't work I waited 2 frames before releasing the attack, that's to get the platform in the middle enough to be in correct position to enter the door, that makes you stuck into the platform and you can't move until it starts falling, if you release it after waiting 1 frame you can avoid getting stuck but it doesn't seem like you reach far enough to get into the door edit: thought of a method to get beneath the door with the 1 frame wait, using 2 platforms instead of one

To me it looks more like you're just a bit too far away from the door. Is it possible to release the ice platform a frame or two later and still land on it?

no, I have tested by falling straight down that I could enter the door far under me, so I was aligned correctly, the problem is another: I was stuck inside the platform and couldn't move until it started falling, read the edits in my previous post for more explanation

how is that done in ZXA? had a quick try with just trying to jump before getting hit, and it didn't work, but if it's possible in ZXA I'd guess it's possible in ZX too

Possibly, but I don't know if it's possible to do it consecutively from the same wall. (jumping from a wall, in ZXA at least, "un-syncs" the player's pixel position from being able to jump from it) It may be possible using Model HX and changing around your speed using hovering and/or air dashing. Edit: ALAKTORN: watch this to see it done in ZXA. Basically it requires perfect pixel positioning giving you a one frame gap to jump from a spike wall.

I've tried finding X and Y again and I'm going mad, I found 4 different addresses for Y which all act the same but are different values, also the last one of them doesn't work when you are in human form: 0214FB69, 0214FB59, 024FBD1, 02152629 actually found they don't work the same, 1st one is 1 frame ahead of 2nd and 3rd, completely different to 4th, also if you freeze the 1st one value you'll have a floating character cheat, whilist if you freeze any of the other adresses' values the character's position won't change for X I found only one, and it doesn't work in human form: 02152625 might have to search for a 4-combo of this too I stopped testing the platform skip to find this gonna find side weapon charge timer and post it / found: 0214FC39 it's the number right after the main weapon lol well I've gotten an almost perfect double platform jump but still couldn't get in, I guess you have to be really perfect… might be too hard for me you have player health for ZXA so I thought I'd get it for ZX: 0214FBB2 Biometal Energy Meter 02150271 E-Crystal Counter 0214FC70 (4 bytes) I don't think it's needed for ZX though can't find the Dash Length can't find Ingame Timer either, how does it work? I thought it'd be 4 bytes in seconds, so 11'47 on the save screen would have a 707 value but that is incorrect tried some more platform skipping and it's impossible to do perfect for me, I think if it's ever gonna work it'll require perfection @Rolanmen: is HX's dash jump slash really faster than mid-air dash slash on bosses? found out that a single Tornado attack kills the Moleroid while in Overdrive, I guess any boss with Electricity weakness would die, but I think it's slower even at the first fight where you can get there with a tornado charged already / for the first fight I believe level 1 charge jumping slash+triple combo is the fastest method, it's basically the same as the 5 hit combo just with 1 hit less it's sad how the boss keeps 3HP after a dash slash+triple combo attack Weak Spot Counter 02104633 0 LV4, 1-2 LV3, 3-8 LV2, 9+ LV1 Lives 0214FC6C x9 is on-screen max, but it can go higher, haven't tested how much higher

my last take on X and Y is: X 0214FB65 Y 0214FB69 are the ones above gonna be added to the MMZX page? I've tried the platform skip with cheats (X and Y froze value) but still no luck: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8GKu1ljLkPU not really sure what went wrong there… platform and character position both looked perfect

Just thinking, if the platform could have a position adress, you could put force it to be in a position that MAYBE could do the skip. If you can't, that would tell that the glitch is impossible. PS: Is Computerbird even working on this?

Alright, I've done some testing on my own, and I'm pretty sure now it's impossible to do it. Even when I was definitely close enough x-wise and was falling down from the platform positioned just a few pixels above what was needed (and ended up on the right y-position for one frame) and tried pressing up at every frame, it was impossible to enter the door.

another thing I was thinking is that possibly the door is locked until you kill the bosses? so maybe it should be tried after killing the bosses, it'd save much less time but should still save some time I think I haven't had time to do any more testing on it

Nope, in fact I had already beat the bosses below the door while testing. So that doesn't work either.

Is There any differeance about the characters? IIRC, Computerbird choosed the girl, only difference i know is that the girl gets more recoil.

IIRC the girl also crawls more quickly, and there's a side quest she can get that the boy can't.

the girl crawls quicker, the boy gets less recoil, both have individual side-quests
