Okay, I been reading more about converting an FCM movie to an AVI, and it told me to use AVIZlib codec to record it. However, I'm not sure if the codec has the right settings. So far, mine is: Video Format (24-bit only): RGB 24 Compress Mode: Hi Speed Null Frame: unchecked PNG filter: unchecked Multi Thread: unchecked Is my settings correct? What are yall's recommendation for this part?

Well, you can check the "null frame" And if you have multiple core or cpu like most modern computer, you can check multi thread. Note that I haven't tested multi thread myself as I'm using a mono core cpu, Athlon Xp.

I was just checking and double-checking. I'm running a laptop with AMD Mobile Sempron, okay

Well, I think you are safe if you don't check multi thread.

For an FCM that lasts an hour and 20 minutes using AVIzlib, I have the raw AVI where file size was 2.21GB. =/ I haven't got to the NES_encoding.bat process yet, but I hope that can adjust the bitrates to make it as good as the speedruns shared on the torrent tracker.

I just use x264 lossless since the end result will be x264 anyway.

I give one update and it may solve the problem. I had a version of VLC media player where it had a convertor that took an FFV1 and downsized it into an H264 so I was able to choose how low the bitrate can go without screwing up the movie. I think I got it all down.
