it's a different type of game play the one your talking about is like an adventure type game the one i'm talking about is 2d sidescrolling action it only has 5 levels with tons of parts in them i'm playing the snes version now oh and.......both characters share the health bar

They play fairly differently, even though they're both 2-player platformers. Unless my memory has failed utterly, the levels are all discrete and serialized, and hence there's no backtracking in the SNES version. I'd say they constitute two games as separate as SMB and SMB2j.

and that switch and a miss trick from the genesis version doesn't work in the snes version there are 5 levels the first four are Highland Highschool,Turbo Mall 2000,Highland hospital, and Strreets of highland the last level is Gwar! Concert... you have to beat the first 4 levels to get to the last level

Post a screenshot perhaps? Or a nugget of gameplay? If its different enough for a separate version, go for it.

What are you talking about, dude? are you woo hooing dromicious' movie, or deciding to make a tas of this game? if the latter, this website does not accept passwords... unless the password unlocks a harder difficulty.

wait...how can you tell the difference in difficulty all that's different is just the number of lives you start off with

If that's really all that changes, then I doubt anyone will care what difficulty you use. Difficulty upgrades are mainly used for games where there are more enemies, obstacles, and the like on the harder modes. There is precedent for not using the hardest mode because it can actively detract from gameplay (e.g. a game where the enemies simply have doubled health, so you just spend more time beating on them and less doing various insane stunts). Still, codes to skip the game aren't gonna fly.

You need to play through the whole game dude, no skipping to the last level and playing that for your submission...

i give up, he is a lost cause. if he opened his eyes and saw the rules he would realize that he cant skip to the last level, but he fails and i am giving up trying to make him understand what everyone has been telling him.

I think the point people were trying to make is that you shouldn't use a password to get to the last level, no matter how many lives you don't get to use. If the difficulty simply increases or decreases the number of lives you have, use the whatever difficulty you want to, as long as you can provide reasoning for why. And unless you plan on utilizing death warps excessively, just choose the difficulty that the game normally starts you out on.

To save frames, just select the first thing you see. If I am correct, the first stage they put up is the high school. The game knows that it saves the Gwar concert for last. This was in fact another SNES game I played before, and the running part was kinda useful. I never seen any glitches in any part. Sometimes shooting or throwing things takes a few frames at the push of a button, making it a little less responsive. Then again, I care less at this point because I am sure a TAS project of this version of the game has been abandoned already. Back to Scheherazade....
