Just found it weird how you were trying to remember two of the games for the GB which are most ingrained in my memories (one for being so lame, the other for being so cool and fun, and both being crazy).
Ah, I have fond memories of going to the local video game rental place (that doesn't exist anymore) and renting these games over and over to play on the Gameboy I won in the school raffle in second grade.
I actually have a demo run that I made to maybe get someone to make a TAS of Star Saver. The thread can be found here:

Unfortunately it seems that the rhino alien and dead fish bosses are too boring, but I can't find warps that'll skip them.
I've a request if anybody can help.
It was an old role playing game on the genesis.
You started off as a little red guy called Julian, and upon dying too many times, would then revert to his younger brother who was dressed in blue.
Once again, too many deaths would result in you taking over as the youngest brother dressed in yellow.
I found the game massively enjoyable when I was younger, always trying to complete it as Julian but can't remember its name for the life of me!
I cant remember many details about it, just random points.
You could teleport to other areas using stone rings. Fought a dragon to get a magic wand. Umm the very end of the game took place in space against a replica of yourself who mirrored all your moves and stuff.
Its an absolutely fantastic game and worth having a go off if you're into your retro RPG's.
I can't really vouch for its TASibilty though.
Any help appreciated!
AHHH!
That's the one I was looking for mate! Thankyou!
I've not played it in years, time to go acquire a copy in one way or another!
Thanks again dude :)
Edit: After having a wee look over the screenshots i've just remembered how slow the game goes. Probably zero TAS potential. But still a fantastic old game!

Ok, just for fun. There's an old C64 game whose identity I am unable to track. If I recall correctly, it had wild-west theme. There was overworld where you entered different houses. In the houses, the player collected stuff and avoided some falling obstacles and other hazards. The suspected player character was possibly white in color and may have had a gun, but I'm not sure.
Off-topic:
Not quite. Even though The Faery Tale Adventure seems like a slow multi-hour game, there exist a few tricks that can speed it up drastically. For example, it is possible to go through walls by getting unconscious near a wall, because waking up pushes the character a few pixels forward. It is almost even possible to get immediately to the final castle with this trick. Also, luck-manipulation works very well in this game, so that any item-drop can be acquired from any enemy.
My memories still very hazy on the game.
But manipulating items would be very handy for, I think they were called Jade Skulls? And the Gold rings too?
Being able to gain entrance to the final castle by death abuse would speed things up greatly bypassing the gold statuettes.
Hmm, maybe I was hasty to judge. I'd love at attempt this game =]
Thanks!
Is it possibly "A fistful of bucks"?
That involved a little white cowboy with a Wild West overworld, I dont recall the falling obstacle parts, but saying that I can hardly remember the game at all! I'll see if I can find any screenshots online.

Hope it helps!

Oo, I got one.
Um, I believe it was a GB or GBC game. It involved timetravel, and toddlers, if I remember correctly. I believe you walked around to find lanterns?
Also, another GB game, all I remember is that the game wasnt completely finished or something. It was similar to a LoZ game, but it wasn't
Renting this space for rent.

A war-kind of game for... the Genesis? Or the SNES? Or the Jaguar? Sheez.
You had a huge ass tank, a smaller tank, a helicopter and a jeep to use, the objective of the game was to blow shit up to reveal a flag which the jeep would pick up and then bring back to the base, and it was a mission complete.
I'm trying to remember a game, but I just have a very vague recollection, unfortunately. I believe it had something to do with a maze, and opening something (though I'm not sure). However, I do recall that I played it a lot around 2000-2002 (that period) and it was on computers in the kid's area at Co-op.

Do you remember anything more specific than that? Something that could tip us off? "Something to do with a maze" describes a rather large selection of games.
A hundred years from now, they will gaze upon my work and marvel at my skills but never know my name. And that will be good enough for me.

Well i've only played this once , so i can only remember on level, I think it was for N64 of PS1, or maybe both, it was a 3d platformer (i think) maybe a bit like banjo kazooie, and one of the characters was a girl wearing a jester suit (weird huh?)

Yes thanks very much, i remember those melons you jump on on the first level now, but a wikipedia search seays it was for ps1/saturn, though i'm sure i played it at my cousins who only had a n64 at the time
I played this game as a kid when the TG16 came out. There was a demo at the mall.
It is a platform game, you play as a really cool looking robot and destroy things... That is about all i can remember.
Oh! The caracter looks like some sort of power ranger robots.
Any ideas y'all?
