Post subject: Favourite TAS you've made?

So this may be a limited topic, but I was wondering for those who have made TASes, what is the one you made that you like the best? I've only actually gotten my Looney Tunes Run published, but I made several mini game TASes for the Mini game TAS thread. The TAS I made that I like the best is my Pikachu's Beach TAS from Pokemon Yellow. Ever since I put it on youtube, I've been watching it on a loop. Hm, interesting question... I'd have to say Samurai Pizza Cats. A simple action platformer; not too long as to be boring, but not so short it's over before you know it. Lots of stuff going on, very active, very colorful... Yeah. Very ideal. This may get usurped by my Metroid 2 project, though. Same stuff minus the color and plus a major glitch. Good stuff. ;P

The TAS I had the most fun making was GB Super Mario Land 2 competition, basically because it was a competition! The TAS I think had the best result was NES battletoads 2p warpless, which is also where I could express the most creativity, due to the auto-scrollers and 2 players action.

I haven't made many TASes, but of the ones I have made, I like my SNES Pugsley's Scavenger Hunt run the best. It's just so intensely fast and fluid. You're not really supposed to use the run button in it nearly so much. Normal speed is about as fast as running in most other games (okay, a little bit slower), and running in this game is very fast, plus it's almost impossible not to get hurt all the time normally (if you run).

Runs that do that sort of thing are great. Something that would normally be completely impossible to do like using Missile Ability as a form of transportation in Kirby and the Amazing Mirror. (try it sometime, you'll fall down many pits after blowing up) I've never played Pugsley's Scavenger Hunt, but I did play Fester's Quest for the NES. Maybe I'll try Pugsley sometime.

'Like the best' has several different connotations for me. I like the creativity I used in Wild Guns the best, the level of optimization in Sonic Spinball the best, and the pure enjoyment of watching Vectorman the best (although this will probably be replaced by Spiderman 3 soon enough).

Yeah, this is a tough question...I really enjoyed working on Goof Troop, as well as Darkwing Duck, as well as solo projects like Solstice and The Mask. If I have to pick one, I'd go with...Goof Troop, I think. That game had a lot of room for just playing around during waiting times, which gave me (us) a lot of freedom at hand.
