I'm taking Super Mario Galaxy 1&2 for granted, so I'm gonna request Cave Story (best ending, of course). LostWinds 1&2 and Blaster Master Overdrive would be nice too. EDIT: Physics-based games like World of Goo and Fluidity would be great choices too. I would love to see the physics in those games thoroughly abused! :)

Four Swords with four separate players would look cool, but maybe that's too far ahead because there would have to be more screens?

I second this, but would also say that I would love to see a minimalist run that finishes the entire game on 3 HP, polar star only. It would be very impressive, especially Sacred Grounds.

An unassisted run under those conditions has been done, and it's of good quality. Do note that some weapons are unskippable.

Disaster: Day of Crisis should be done. It'll be long, but damn it's fun. It's a shooter and a disaster movie all wrapped into one. Plus it rips off Metal Gear Solid 2. :P
Taking over the world, one game at a time. Currently TASing: Nothing

I would love to see Burnout 2 TASed. I played this game countless of hours, it's definitely one of my most played racers. There should be enough potential in it for some crazy records. A TAS should be able to always manipulate perfect traffic and abuse the OoB-Shortcuts. We could also do some ridiculously glitched Crash Mode-Scores and Pursuit-Races (it is possible to stop the opponent in an amount of seconds by letting him crash the right way)
Current project: Gex 3 any% Paused: Gex 64 any% There are no N64 emulators. Just SM64 emulators with hacky support for all the other games.

Quick peak at GCN collection next to me. A 4 player Tales of Symphonia run could work, though the cut-scene heaviness... MP battles were the most fun the game had. Eh option Timesplitters 2 and 3 could work, though I don't recall obvious speed up tricks like strafe running in GE/PD. Good option. If you can find out how to work the RNG, Fire Emblem 9/10. Great option. Lost Kingdoms 2 has some neat options with the gimicky but very awesome stats of most cards. A large amount of the enemies can simply be run past. The fact that Tara starts limping more and more as she loses HP can present some intresting trades offs for damage vs time. Good Option Rogue Squadron 3 co-op, because multiplayer runs are always fun. Good option Gladius is awesome, but the animations can't be turned off, and either the load times are horrible, or it looks unauthentic. Ehh option If you can get the money grinding between fights/strength boosts/katana parts (HP is irrelevant most of time in TAS) for NMH and NMH2 out of the way (doing well in stages can make up the money) great option Baten Kaitos is too cut-scene heavy, even if you figure out how to work the luck heavy battles. bad option Chibi Robo is cut-scene heavy, but the open nature of the goals has promise. OK option. That's just off the top of my head and on the shelf/floor near by PC, the mini-cd holder (cases are in a box) has more games.

Goldeneye 007 for the Wii 007Agent under fire for the GC Both 007 games I know but goldeneye would be interesting with the wiimote since you could have precision and flawless accuracy (like any other FPS on the Wii)

I'm shocked neither version of Four Swords has been TASed yet, given the love for co-op runs. The GCN version may have screen size issues (you need 5 screens on screen) as an issue over strict TASablity.

I tried to TAS four sword adventure on gamecube, but the game is very unstable. I couldn't efficiently TAS it =|.

When I saw the World of Goo posts I realized that it would be cool with 4 players. One would be moving the screen or using the whistle, and the rest would be placing goos every few frames. They could even make ridiculous overhanging structures because they would be finished before it fell! I'm surprised Zelda: Skyward Sword hasn't been mentioned yet. It's probably because of how new the game is. I always had fun watching the Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask TASes because of how they do everything out of order and do some crazy glitches.

Motionplus emulation does not work properly, so you'd need to do it with a real wiimote, which frankly i don't see working too well with frame advance. Also, glitches are still being worked on, so planning a route right now would be silly.

Once Dolphin is really stable/ready I hope to work on World of Goo. Also, I've been watching some speedruns of Rayman: Origins. it would be really fun! and 2D, so it could be easily TASed like Megaman 10.

I would say it already is. There's no lua support, or ram watch (though you could always use cheat engine or something for that), but otherwise everything you need is available and working, and it syncs pretty well too.

Actually, this is the game I tried to make work. But this is just impossible to get it sync... I don't actually know why, I tried with and without savestate, but it keeps desync at the same place. But as you said to me, we should wait.

I also want to see Tales of Symphonia. Yes, there is a lot of dialogue, but most of it is largely skippable. There are also lots of ways to make the game more difficult. The most immediate one that springs to mind is to do a New Game+ playthrough, so that it can be done on Mania difficulty and with 1/2 EXP.

Maybe a very entertaining high-level gameplay TAS of Wii Sports Resort.

The devs are working on it. It'll be fixed eventually.

As far as i know, this isn't true. The only dev who cares at all about tasing is nitsuja, and he hasn't made a commit in 4 months now.

But he has promised to return and further improve the save fixes and speedups branches according to the devs.

Neither of which will help wiimote recording. And it's been months, so i wouldn't hold your breath waiting for them.
