As soon as I double click it I get this. "The application failed to initialize properly (0xc000135). Click on OK to terminate the application." Halps.

Remove the .NET Framework 2.0 and above with this tool: http://blogs.msdn.com/astebner/archive/2005/04/08/406671.aspx Then reinstall it, using this package: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=AB99342F-5D1A-413D-8319-81DA479AB0D7&displaylang=en Finally, use these patches for .NET 2.0 SP2, 3.0 SP2, and 3.5 SP1, the three versions installed by the .NET 3.5 SP1 package: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/959209 If you have trouble with a .NET 1.1 or 1.0 app, use the manual removal tool above to remove all .NET 1 versions and then use this package to reinstall .NET 1.1 SP1: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=a8f5654f-088e-40b2-bbdb-a83353618b38&displaylang=en I mean the TAS Movie Editor is a .NET 2.0 app, but you might have trouble with "legacy" .NET apps, and 2.0 is completely independent of the 1 line

1) Select the frame you want to edit 2) In the menu bar, click edit -> view editing console 3) Make sure you select/activate the controllers you wan. Alright, so I have some TASing going along. Another little question. =) Now that I've progressed a moderate amount, how can I start a movie and the demo at a certain point, while keeping them in sync? I'm currently using FCEUX (2.0.3 since TASEdit works better), and using the TASEdit tool. The way I'm doing it too is that I have 2 separate programs open; one for TASEditing and one for playing the demos (it's a little faster overall). Any help is greatly appreciated.

I am not sure if I am getting you right, but you are using TAS Movie Editor to create the full TAS? if so: You should use FCEUX to do most of the TAS creation by using save-states and re-recording TAS Movie Editor is mostly used to alter input files after they are already created (for instance to change the moment of a jump in a side-scroller)

I am not using TAS-Movie-Editor at all at the moment, I'm just using FCEUX's TAS Edit. The question I'm asking is if I can start the movie, say, half-way, so I don't have to watch the full thing for every little change I do at the end (thus making it much faster to do).
