First and for most i suck at learning stuff so may people explain things. 1. What are the best plugins to use for a TAS 2. How do you record a film. i am talking about from scratch and nothing else. E.g. i start up a game then i click record and then what? 3. How do i get my recording into a AVI file. 4. How do you slowdown time. 5. If you slowdown time and record when you play the video does it show it in real time? Thank you for whoever can help me. These things may have been answered already and if they have please post where the answer is Thanks all.

1. That depends on the game. Some games require special graphic plugins, otherwise they look messed up. But most of the time the will do the job: Graphics: Jabo's Direct3D8 1.6 Input: TAS Input Plugin 0.6 Sound: Jabo's DirectSound 1.6 RSP: RSP Emulation Plugin 2.,3. and 4.: See this http://tasvideos.org/MovieMaking.html 5. Yes, it will

GenericTips and the FAQ might also be worth looking at. I disagree with the plugins suggested. Please read http://www.bluetoaster.net/tasvideos/plugins.html (though it's slightly outdated)

The only arguable plugins are the graphics plugins, and as I said they should depend on the game. Also Jabo's Direct3d8 1.6 is the most used one, if I remember correctly. Please excuse me if I'm wrong here, though.
