CoolHandMike: Thank you McBobX for explaining more about the route here: Forum/Posts/539552. Here a lot of zips and screenwrap bugs are used to advance quickly through the stages. This is tas also uses some advanced techniques like this here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ws_C_y1INL4 which warmCabin explains in the description. This Japanese page by finalfighter https://www.yuko2ch.net/rockman/ has a large amount of info on various tricks and bugs for the Megaman aka Rockman games many of which are used in this tas. Optimization is very good in this submission. Happy to be able to accept this submission to the site.

As usual, nice job woabclf. Don't worry about the bad comment, your gameplay look good. Some people are arguing about the hack quality, but keep in mind that there alway a place on this site for your hardwork... even if this means gruefood delight.
Honestly, had this hack been the first one submitted, this probably would have seen a much better response and possible acceptance. The fall through the void-world part was pretty frigging sweet.
However, this is what happens when you overload people with 'subpar' offerings. People got burned out on Mega Man 2 hacks, and this one, with some awesome glitching, was overlooked.

Alright, so the route woabclf took is optimal for the most part. Usually, you want to get items as fast as possible, and they're usually obtained from Flash, Heat and Air. woabclf started with Flash to get Item-3, which proved to be very useful in Heat stage. Now, Quick was done before Air might seem suspicious, but you can at 1:11 in the part 2, he needed to switch to Quick to take down fan fiend, otherwise he may not make it to the next platform. In this one, I'm not sure if the hack intends for you to get Clash weapon first before Air but at least this strat proves to be useful here. Also, Quick also happens to be the weakness of Air in this hack. Other than that, it follows the weakness order after obtaining all necessary items.
