I have all the emulators I could get my hands on, and I am trying to build a very nice collection of games, but I can feel in my gut some that classics that I have missed. I got all the basics, the Contras and Metriods, and Zeldas. But I would like some ideas about games that I may not have so any of the old school systems NES, SNES, Genises, Gamboy. Also please tell me a little something about the game, likes it's genre.

mega man! ...you forgot all the mega mans! Also you should get the final fantasies. FFVII and FFV are the best games. Aside from Skies of Arcadia for Dreamcast and now GC. P.) -Ev

I have all the Mega Mans. Kickmaster huh? I will look into that. Genises games I actually do't have that big of a collection. I never had a genesis when I was little. I have a bunch of sonic, I have Gunstar Heros and Kid Kameleon.

There's a very fun football game called "World Cup" for NES. The good part about it is there are almost no rules in it. :) You can knock out the other team, and then get free goals for the rest of the match, etc...

Kirby series is a must have. Also Toejam and Earl for the Genesis. I would also throw in the best competitive puzzle game ever, Tetris Attack. Put in some beat em ups like Battletoads, Double Dragon, River City Ransom, and you should be set for some time.

That would be Nekketsu High School Dodgeball Club - Soccer Story. There's also a sequel, Kunio-kun's Nekketsu Soccer League.

Famicom is Nintendo. Super Famicom is exactly what you think it is.

Yeah, when refering to the japanese verision of a game, I can understand saying the japanese game. But, I doubt that he is going to get the japanese version of the games. So please, English! The only time that turning japanese names into english is bad is anime(cough cough naruto cough cough)

Some of those were never released in English. There are also English-language games that aren't really Kirby games (like Kirby's Ghost Trap).

I'm just saying that if there is an Enligh and Japanese version, use the English name. If its only in japanese, then you obviously should use the japanese name. Unless you like confusing all of us :p

GBC - Gameboy Color, GCN - GameCube. Back onto the subject, you need to play as many CAPCOM games as you can find, and to a lesser extent those of Enix and Konami.
