Maybe you have heard of this, but a bunch of indie developers got together and put out one of those neat "Pay whatever you want for the games" promos. http://www.wolfire.com/humble I went ahead and bought it for 10$ since I heard so much stuff about World of Goo being so cool. I haven't even played it, I have been stuck playing Aquaria! I love this game, it's so pretty and awesome and the music is cool. 10$ was worth it for that game alone. Anyway, you guys should check it out. Only 5 days left.

That's great for us, but I hope it isn't a sign of them having financial difficulties. The video also made me laugh. I'll go ahead and buy it too, although I already have world of goo. (oops it rhymed).

Given that a significant portion of the income is set to go to charity, I don't think the companies in question are having financial difficulties. They're getting good karma and free advertising out of games that had otherwise gotten most of the sales they were ever going to get.

I am really in love with this Aquaria game. I can't believe I have never even heard of it before. I haven't even played World of Goo yet and I heard that is pretty good. I tried Gish for a second but it kinda runs like crap on OS X. You need Rosetta to even play it, and it doesn't go full screen.

I tried out aquaria's demo... meh. Ghish didn't have a demo, so no comments there. Have no interest in world of goo. Lugaru was kinda fun, but I had no clue how to attack other than click both mouse buttons at the same time. Really quick, though... almost dizzifying. Penumbra wasn't tried. If I had money, I would buy just because. I don't feel like getting it for free (or relatively cheap) so I won't. I bet you 10 bucks that this post didn't make any sense.

I already had three of the five games, but went ahead and paid a bit for the other two.

^^it's a steal, and you have only 4 more days I paid $5 and downloaded and locally stored all of the builds of the games. Now I will have a fun new game to play once I get a computer that can handle Penumbra: Overture.

5 weak games... anyway, after that I found this one >> http://www.remar.se/daniel/herocore.php
"Genuine self-esteem, however, consists not of causeless feelings, but of certain knowledge about yourself. It rests on the conviction that you — by your choices, effort and actions — have made yourself into the kind of person able to deal with reality. It is the conviction — based on the evidence of your own volitional functioning — that you are fundamentally able to succeed in life and, therefore, are deserving of that success." - Onkar Ghate

I've played a lot of world of goo and it's a strong, polished, complete game, I don't think it has an indie feeling, it's perfect. I can't talk about the other games.

World of Goo and Aquaria are both highly polished releases. Not sure how you could call them weak.

The game you posted is very good, PS. I did 95% of the normal difficulty in a single sitting. I thought I had done 100%... I'll play more later, if I have time.
