Hey everyone. I'm Pink, and I'm also male. The username can be misleading. I've been lurking th site and forums for about a year, and since I'm upgrading my laptop, I've decided to actually try TASing now. I started today just messing around in Super Mario 64 and did my first ever BLJ. Woo! So, I guess I'm just introducing myself, and also asking if anyone has recommendations for beginning TASers. Any resources you can point me to would be greatly appreciated. See you all around!

The key to success for new TASers: Don't start with sm64. :P Unless you really want to, which I then recommend posting your TASes here, and making them with this. If you need help with using that, go here. Welcome to TASvideos! :D

Hey there Kyman. First off, I'd like to say thanks for responding. Second, you are a great TASer and I've loved watching your contributions. Third, I know that sm64 is not a good game to start with, haha. It's mostly that I wanted to try it out, and even just messing around with things is fun. I've been messing about with BLJ the lobby (the pillar. I believe that's a ceiling BLJ) I'm mostly trying to figure out how to control it once I've built up my momentum. I have all the plugins that were recommended as well. Hopefully, I'll move on to TASing another game to get used to TASing more, than return to sm64 (triumphantly) and be able to contribute at least a little! Thanks for the welcome! EDIT: Is there a place I can pick up a save file with differing star amounts so I don't need to collect stars right now, and can just experiment with different techniques? Thanks.
