Finally my FULL Wizards n Warriors time attack is done.
It uses the same base as my fast version, so stage 1-4 is the same.
This game is HARD to time attack! This is because you have to carefully judge which gems you can collect and which to avoid. Stage 7 is very hard (the second last one with the skeleton boss) because it´s so long and you need 200 gems to finish it. However, I managed to do this withouth sacrifising speed. If you are wondering why I don´t fall all the way down after receiving the blue key it´s because after a long fall you crash and gets dizzy for 3-5 seconds. Also, I needed my knife to follow pretty close above me to collect some gems without touching them.
The last stage IS a pain in the ass because you have to rely on enemies to get the 100 needed gems. This involves some running back n forth which was completely necessary. Also, all enemies are not manipulative in some cases, most noticably is the pink ghosts. However im pretty sure the stage is optimized due to HEAVY abuse of the random factors.
That stage is easy compared to the last boss though. Malkil himself is not that hard but to get him into positions that is useful is HARD! I can manipulate him but he is also very very random. So I got the pretty much optimized fight for him aswell. You can compare it to chasing ninjas in Legend of Kage. They can be manipulated to appear where you want them (sort of) but you can´t be 100% sure of it. Sometimes even a frame/pixel/movement difference can alter his pattern and makes me wait for another 5-20 seconds before I get him where I want too. Concidering I spent around 500 re-records on Malkil it´s a good fight!
As fast as possible
Manipulates luck (All the time!)
Abuses programming errors in the game
Takes damage to save time.
Enjoy!!

Hmm, I didn't look at the movie length until now. Just 3 minutes slower than the glitchless run? I thought it'd be much slower. Good job.

You did a good job with the "diamond planning" , I was wondering, can the glitch be done so you warp from the first stage to another instead of how you did it??, also. wasn't there in the game an axe power up that is an upgrade to the dagger of throwing?? I haven't played this game in years but I recall it being way more powerful than the dagger.

Nicely done. One of my favorite games from back in the day (which incidentally, my friends and I were never able to beat)

Any comments about the no votes? Feedback would be great. Also pleaste not that this is 3 minutes longer/slower because it is the FULL run of the game. No warp glitch performed. So, if you knew about that and still voted no I would like to hear comments. Thanks.

Actually, I prefer this movie to the other movie. Although this one is slower, it is also more 'complete'. Im also not a big fan of glitching. Vote: YES

I don't mind seeing glitching to beat a game faster usually, but in this game I think it's pretty boring to rewatch the first few levels over again, so I liked this movie much more.

I can't view this run for some reason. It desyncs in the blue caves. I tried the usual ROM plus the one listed above.

Great job, Walker! This movie was a real treat to watch. :) I *much* prefer this to the glitched run, once again proving (to me at least) that these movies are all about entertainment.

Walker Boh, two quick questions for you...do you know that in secret gem rooms, you get the equivalent of 1 gem if you pick it up by walking into it, but 2 gems if you collect it with the throwing knife? Seems like you might be able to avoid a secret room or two in the stage after the fire stage, since you were only a few gems short toward the end. Also, what factor determines what an enemy drops when it dies? I've tried doing a speed run on a console, and I could never figure out how to get more gems to appear. The only thing I tried was using the Boots of Force to kill enemies, and it *seemed* like I was able to get more gems in the last stage, for example. Anyway, this run is simply outstanding...it was fun to watch, didn't really use glitches (that I could remember), and it was obviously well-planned!
