Contra Advance: The Alien Wars EX is a port of Contra III: The Alien Wars for the SNES, released for the Game Boy Advance in 2002. Notable omissions from the original game are the second weapon slot as well as the Mode 7 stages, themselves replaced with stages from Contra: Hard Corps. It also uses a password system and supports two-player co-op gameplay via linking two systems with two carts.
