Introduction
I'm a 25 year old guy from Hungary doing many things.
My projects/goals on this site
- SDARunsWithoutAPublishedTAS - Revisited/shortened list of speedruns hosted at SDA that doesn't have a published TAS
A few NES TAS projects that I already started but they are suspended/work in progress, feel free to PM me if you want to join.
TODO:Add WIPs, lua scripts, random informations
In progress/probably next projects
NES Metroid | |
NES Widget | Few hundred frames faster, however a lot of tests need to be done for abusing quadra hit on "invisible" boss |
NES Rainbow Island | DMTM's idea and a some optimization would improve that vault run, however it's 14 minutes long, probably I will write a bot |
NES Robocop 3 | If I can manipulate enemies better, probably few seconds will be improved |
TASes I won't continue/work on
NES Sword Master | Boring to TAS and see it |
NES Pinball Quest | Much-much faster on level 1, but it's vault again |
NES Cocoron | Probably vault and too long (~15 minutes?), needs too much planning |
NES Wizardry glitched | In theory, 2 to ~42 frames can be saved. In practice, it looks really impossible since it requires extraordinary luck to pull out two idiot bug in the same time that relies on CPU cycles. |
TASes I probably finish in the far future:
NES Rygar | I've uploaded the wrong WIP last time, need to find the ~13 frames faster one |
NES Contra/Gryzor | Not motivated to test all basement spread patterns (just a few hundred possibilities) |
NES Hudson Hawk | vault, however has some sweet moments but lot of X pos manipulation possibilites and other |
NES Streemerz any% | Improved my last submission, improved a lot of frames but lost 30 frames for no reason (very very unfortunate lag frames), needs a lot of brute force tests |
NES Darkwing Duck | Improved 1 frame, takes a lot of time to test possible Y subposes and random things... |
NES NARC 2P | Very stubborn game, needs brute force because boss spawn is total random |
NES Quarth | Insert uploaded movie here |
NES Strider | 1-2 frames can be saved by trading lag frames, but there's a general "if you improve earlier, you lose later" thing because of how the game works. Falls in to the same "TASing" as Rockin Kats/Metroid/Battletoads (lags and brute forces) |
NES cndrr | According to Aglar's note, it's super hard to pull it off, maybe I try to write a script for it once |
TODO: organize these
NES Challenge of the Dragon - (probably vault, later levels has so few pits/long fights)
NES Rescue - The Embassy Mission - TASing done, bruteforce needs to be implemented after finding all memory variables needed.
NES Ultimate Stuntman - probably vault
NES Indiana Jones Temple of Doom - PPU problems, but those weird whip swing warps are funny as hell
SNES Assault Suit Valken - need to watch others movies and restart it with implementing all tricks (japanese one)
NES Blade Buster - 5 minute, goal: high score?
NES Snake Rattle 'n' Roll 2P - first 2 stages complete (-110 frames I guess), lag frames are random...
