A log of all tests run by owners of NESbot or true's bot for movies that do not yet have a full verification video.

* [2926M] - [user:Micro500]: (TASLink) Syncs on 1.0 - [user:Ownasaurus]: (TASLink) Fails on exploit on 1.1

* [891M] - [user:Brandon]: got it to sync by starting the bot after resetting. This doesn't work every time, which is why he has yet to upload a video of this. A modification of the NESBot software could solve this. Strangely enough, its [888M|predecessor] syncs without this problem.

* [1816M] - [user:DarkKobold]: Syncs. 

* [562M] - [user:dwangoAC]: Syncs, needs an encode.

* [1049M] - [user:dwangoAC]: Syncs.

* [1128M] - [user:dwangoAC]: Syncs, needs an encode.  Synced with a starting lag frame and a 4ms window.

* [1816M] - [user:dwangoAC]: Syncs, needs an encode.  Synced with a starting lag frame and a 4ms window.

* [1114M] - [user:dwangoAC]: Syncs, needs an encode.  Synced on gray cart with a starting lag frame and a 6ms window (allowing for up to 200 lag frames). true: Attempted to record but desyncs on console at red high jump boots guy - he says something like "Cannot help you." Tried per-poll and frame settings. Gold cart. PRG difference?

* [2503M] - true: Makes it to second screen of Area 6, then desyncs when hitting the thrown spikeball.

* [951M] - [user:DarkKobold]: Syncs through 50% of the run.

* [1817M] - [user:Brandon]: Sometimes begins to sync, but fails when entering a house.

* [529M] - [user:Brandon]: Desyncs at the last level. Also tested by [user:adelikat] with the same result.

* [1372M] - [user:DarkKobold]: Doesn't jump soon enough to bounce off the bee, to do the shortcut after key #5 in the first level. Also tested by [user:Brandon] with the same result.

* [1034M] - [user:Brandon]: This run actually very well might run through the entire game if the bot was better made. The first time I tested it, it got about 12 minutes in flawlessly, and then the bot just stopped working. It didn't desync; it stopped running. After a software update by [user:micro500], it would desync at the Octopus boss fight. The last time I tested it, it didn't get past the title screen. Bizarre...worth testing again.

* Startropics II by [user:Brandon] and [user:Randil] (WIP) - [user:Brandon]: Syncs flawlessly, but as the WIP doesn't actually complete the game, it belongs in this tab.

* [1594M] - true: Syncs pretty reliably to the Dam level, but often fails to get the ninjastar drop before the chainsaw guy at the ladder. If the drop is obtained, desyncs at ~1:59 left on the timer in the next level.

* [1218M] - [user:DarkKobold]: No prayer of syncing. Can't leave the first room.  

* [2302M] - [user:tuvok302] aka TheDot: Syncs until room with blue platforms.  Extremely power on timing sensitive.

* [1606M] - [user:tuvok302] aka TheDot: Partially syncing, can get to the pink room consistently [[Approx 1.5 minutes in]].  Extremely power on timing sensitive.

* [2406M] - [user:dwangoAC]: Desyncs entering first level; I plan on trying a few more timing settings as I *really* want to see this one work. :) edit by true 20151003: Haven't tested this run, but have tested Kirby, and the issue is that Kirby's Adventure will _always_ poll for controller input once per frame, regardless of what is being processed. Since emulator timings vary wildly from console timings, the same amount of processing work isn't being done and the game will quickly desync. The only feasable resolution here will be to improve emulation.

* [2432M] - [user:dwangoAC]: Desyncs at some point after the first couple of moves.

* [2135M] - [user:dwangoAC]: Desyncs immediately when using any windowed mode.  When using 1 latch per frame, the mouse cursor gets thrown around in strange ways, and 2 frames is similar.

* [303M] - [user:dwangoAC]: Desyncs deterministically halfway between stage 2 at a set of closing gates.  This game appears to be a 1 latch per frame game.

* [1997M] - [user:dwangoAC]: Desyncs very quickly. 

* [2403M] - true: Game doesn't fail to endgame in the same way; looks nearly the same, except the palette doesn't change, the green toad comes back with a glitchbike, and eventually the green toad and glitch bike disappear.

* [1920M] - true: Boss fight on level 8 (vertical going up level) 5 of 5 times throws boss to left on console.

* [1810M] - true: Rarely desyncs at second enemy, and always desyncs at third enemy. Third enemy has varying patterns with same replay settings.

* [3667M] - [user:tuvok302] aka TheDot: Desyncs around Area 3 Round 4 consistently. 


Tested in 201510xx:

* [2873M] - true: Character jumps erratically. Bad timing?

* [2897M] - true: Gets on ladder, gets hit by enemy. Enemy hit is deterministic. This game is written so poorly that poor emulation can't do it justice. Need better emulators.

* [2949M] - true: Not ruling out dumping issues, but I can't get it to sync farther than partway through the first underground segment.

* [2923M] - true: Not ruling out dumping issues, although I think it is an emulation problem. Gets hit by the top pie in the first pie room.

* [2697M] - true: Doesn't do the correct thing in the third stage boss area.
