Hi, I'm arkiandruski, a TASer that joined the site in 2006. I've mostly worked on Genesis games, but am not limiting myself to the console.

I've see the site go through a lot of changes through the years, and seen the philosophy change a few times. I'm very much in support of the effort to make the site more inclusive in terms of games allowed.

!!!Vision for an updated site
----
Just to have documentation for it. I would like TASvideos site to be easy to use both for people making TASes as well as viewers, and I believe the best way to do that is to make game specific pages more prominent.

[Games|We have a database for game pages already]. It's auto generated and woefully underused. It's also incredibly difficult to find unless you know it's there. First priority would be to make links to these pages more prominent. Second would be to repurpose those pages so that all information anyone might need can be found there.

I would like game pages to include:
* General game information
* List of publications (with obsoletion history chain)
* List of submissions
* WIPs/userfiles (with the ability to embed streaming videos)
* Information on known tricks and glitches.
* Information of version differences with links to different versions of the same game if applicable (i.e. on different consoles).
* A mirror of the forum thread dedicated to that game, which users can write replies to from the game page.

Basically just making sure all information you might ever need on a game is consolidated in one place rather than forcing users to go to different areas of the site to try to piece things together.
