A futuristic one-on-one fighting game from Atari Games. Cyberstorm was produced by Atari Games in 1993.
The 2 most important things to know about this game is that the controls are incredibly stiff, and infinite combos exist!!!! bare in mind that not all combos will work the same with certain characters due to BS hit boxes, but there are workarounds with playing with GX-2!!!!
nymx: Claiming for judging.
nymx: Setting to "Needs More Info", because the goal is not clear. Category states "any %", but author states this is a points run.

CoolHandMike: Hello Jack-Retro while looking at your tas I noticed that the goal was changed to "maximum points" so I took a look. In fighting games one way of achieving more points is to play more rounds. By losing a round you can get more points if you hit them a bunch, then lose. Overall your retention of points would be higher. However in this game there seems to be an even better way. Here by getting a double knockout, the round is reset and the points gotten during the match are retained. I was able to get two double knockouts in a row, and no WIN points were awarded to either player. It is unknown how far this could be taken with double knockouts, but just with those two I was able to go on to win the match with two wins. This means this submission should be able to get much more points than it currently does.
Example of the double knockouts. These are NOT optimized, but just to show that the points are retained and no WIN is given to either player:

I will say that your current rounds look decent for points. Good mix of destruction and combos.
As far as TAStudio usage, it is not necessary to use it to make well-optimized tases, but it is the easiest way IMO. Using TAStudio I was able to see that inputs could be shifted earlier to make the tas faster. An easy place to see this was at the very beginning where deleting some frames made the first round start about a second faster. A second would not cause a rejection, but it does indicate that other parts of the tas may not be well-optimized. In this case I am not going to investigate further since the Goal itself is not satisfied. Optimization would be more heavily scrutinized in a submission for a fastest completion goal however.
Rejecting since this tas does not meet the goal of "maximum points".
Please investigate the double knockout should you wish to submit for this Goal again. Do not be discouraged however. There are plenty of members that would be willing to give advice or feedback should you have any questions as well.
