This a TAS of a homebrew demake of Capcom's very first Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney game. It was made in 2024 by Gustavo Silva and it only covers the first episode: "The First Turnabout". Despite being a demo/proof of concept, it's rather feature complete all things considered, with all the game mechanics, text and story beats mostly intact (at least gameplay wise).
This TAS beats the demo and catches the true culprit in record time, unlocking a Sound Test after beating it.
This movie could be compared more with a normal "New Game +" run of the DS game. As in this NG+ state, you can skip most textboxes simply by holding B. In this demake, you skip most text by frame perfect mashing, alternating between B and then A on the next possible frame (as there could be more lag frames in between). The only unskippable textboxes are the ones with green text, when entering a different location, the intro cutscene at the start of the game, and the text in blue when obtaining new evidence for the Court Record.
Other than that, there's not much else to explain.

nymx: Claiming for judging.
nymx: I've always liked the idea of "demakes". It demonstrates that our older console technologies have more ability than what we experienced during their prime. As for the game, the demo is acceptable...until the full version is TASed. All looks fast and good, as the audience has also similarly commented.
Accepting to "Standard".
