An alternate take on the classic fairytale of Rapunzel.
Lavender is a puzzle game with horror elements in which we must solve puzzles to leave the tower and reclaim the comb that our protagonist dropped out of the window before her mother returns.
This TAS achieves a normal ending of the game.
Puzzles
- There isn't much to discuss as we go through the puzzles in the correct order.
- Flowers: we must place them in the left pot, then in the right pot, then in the middle, and then in sequence. Otherwise, if we do it in a different order, the flowers will wilt and we will have to redo that part all over again.
- Chess: starting with the white piece at the beginning is a few frames faster than black.
- Weighing: it is fastest to place the fox and the wolf on the right at the beginning because they are closer, and then the rest on the left side.
- Moving: I don't think I need to explain this, it's just moving the block to the right spot.
- A table with a weird conception: In this section, we need to place the rings in the right places to move on. Make a few moves here to finish it faster.
- Pot: In this section, we need to add all the ingredients in the right proportions to complete it; the quantity is always the same.
- Figures: The same as with the block, except that we have to place the figures in their correct spots.
The TAS time appears to be slower than the WR, but this is because we end the input by skipping the ‘Thank You for playing’ dialogue, while the RTA ends the time when interacting with the comb, with the time being 2:33.200 in TAS.
