Introduction

Saint Seiya: Ougon Densetsu Hen Perfect Edition is a WonderSwan remake of a combination of the two Saint Seiya games for the NES (mostly the first one), both of which I TASed:
This games features much better graphics, but the gameplay isn't better than any of the above. A lot of the fights were removed and there is an extreme amount of dialogue to replace them. Some things don't make sense either, e.g., there is a stat for jumping that you can spend EXP on, but the player cannot jump!
For walkthrough, I followed mostly this guide (Spanish). As per glitches, there aren't any. Only RNG exploitation to maximize attack power and decrease/dodge damage. I also transfer all life to cosmos before I visit Miho, to maximize cosmos.
I figure this is It's a nice TAS to watch if you know the anime. You won't understand anything, otherwise. But yeah, now I have my first WonderSwan submission and something to showcase at Anime Speedruns Festival next year.

Challenger: Claiming for judging.
Challenger: What an interesting Saint Seiya title for the WonderSwan standards: Watching both NES games and the fact they follow the first half of the known 1986 Saint Seiya anime, it's possible to understand some of the story (including the character sprites) despite most of the game spending time with japanese texts.
The game looks good, but at the same time it looks weird that the developers didn't implement the jump control to add more gameplay like the NES games, and while there are so many dialogues in the WonderSwan title, for the other side the battles have better details in every way.
The general optimization and all fights are well planned! Nice job and Accepting to Standard.
