nymx: Claiming for judging.
nymx: Uploading an improvement movie file of 41 frames.
nymx: After watching jmosx36's comparison movie, I see that there is a lot to figure out about this game. After seeing each game take the lead a number of times, there has to be something to explore for optimization. For example, you would figure the "bonus" rounds can be done faster with 2 players; however, it looks like the game adjusts for having a second player. Maybe, the timing of each "wave" is the same. During the boss fights, it appears there are some invulnerability frames at work, which makes is a bit hard for a second player to be involved. Being an auto-scroller, this will require a lot of studying to figure out. I'm sure more could be found in both version, but for now...this version looks good and qualifies for acceptance under our rules:
  • Multiplayer: For games where you can control several character at once, up to 3 branches are allowed:
    • Minimum players (usually 1)
    • Maximum players (usually 2)
Accepting to "Standard" as a "1 Player" branch.
