This TAS attempts to complete the game as fast as possible, but in some courses the number of possible shot combinations is so big that a bot should be used for truly optimal results.
The starting position of the first shot can be adjusted within a small area and the power meter starts from the value of the previous shot. These mechanics make human-assisted TASing quite challenging, but also fun.
Course number | Shots used | Comments |
---|---|---|
1 | 1 | I moved the starting position of the shot slightly to get past an obstacle. |
2 | 2 | This course needs 2 shots. It is hard to optimize, so using 4 000 000 rerecords on it might be a good idea in the future. |
3 | 1 | The sticky concrete in the middle is sticky, so it's faster to go around it. Oh, there are lava obstacles on my minigolf course! Cool! Never would have expected that, except maybe in Iceland. |
4 | 1 | Minigolf course on ice? It's definitely Iceland! |
5 | 1 | No, wait... we are in the middle of a desert. |
6 | 1 | Oh my... It's Iceland again! I must be dreaming... |
7 | 1 | A large part of the rerecords went for this shot. |
8 | 2 | There are two possible routes. This was the faster one. |
9 | 1 | There is a timed obstacle that requires waiting. A bot might be able to find a fast two-shot solution. |
10 | 1 | No comments. |
11 | 2 | No comments. |
12 | 2 | There might be a faster solution with a single shot, but the ball has often too much speed and fails to enter the hole. |
13 | 1 | No comments. |
14 | 2 | No comments. |
15 | 2 | It is required to stop on the "GO" symbol to open a gate. |
16 | 2 | An extra ball is collected by chance. It has no effect in a TAS, though. |
17 | 2 | A timed obstacle requires waiting again. This might be the hardest course, when played normally. |
18 | 3 | A very hard course to optimize, because three shots are required. |
19 | 1 | Difficult to optimize, because there is a clumsy paddle that can be moved by the player. Also, the ball often has too much speed, when it reaches the hole. |
Hopefully somebody enjoys it. :)
