Hippodrome is a fighting game developed and published by Data East for arcades in 1989. A mythologically themed gladiator game with simple controls, players need to win a tournament and rule the kingdom for one year by defeating eight terrifying and monstrous opponents. Between the fights, they can upgrade their equipment, giving them various health, range and damage bonuses.
