Castle Grounds
Migu optimized the fall after the clip and landed closer to the door, saving 2 frames. Rupa found that it was faster to do a jump before long jumping to the door, saving another 2 frames.
1 Star Door Skip
Bobbybob suggested a previously failed idea, to land in the door after clipping, which would remove the need for a ground pound to land on the seam. This requires clipping with a more specific angle and speed, but Migu found a way to do it with a backwards sideflip. Rupa and Migu also optimized the movement before starting the sideflip for both of the times 1 star door skip is performed. Rupa found that after the clip, it was possible and faster to jump to the railing and do an out-of-bounds midair double jump to the door. This was TASed by Migu with the new landing position from the clip.
Goomboss Battle
Rupa optimized the pole climb by doing another jump off the pole and hitting the top wall to instantly get 73728 speed directed back at the pole. He also found minor optimizations before and after the pole, saving 50 frames in total.

eien86: This movie improves on the current one ([6064] DS Super Mario 64 DS by Sharkey91, Really_Tall, bobbybob, Adeal, Migu & Rupa in 05:42.28) by slightly more than 5 seconds. A very entertaining watch, visibly optimized to an extreme, and with plenty of positive feedback. I quote one comment from the youtube video:
Not much more to add, excellent work. Accepting to Standard.
Encoder: I based my judging on the authors' encode, after Spike confirmed this movie sync'd.
