I actually tried (and succeded) doing that "slide into feather" method when playtesting the level, so my friend took great pains to prevent that trick from working. The actual solution to the puzzle is: . . . . You're supposed to get a mushroom out of one of the item boxes in the beginning, then grab a cape and cape-spin the mushroom all the way to the end of the level. Once you've done that, you can power-down from the plants and power up again with the mushroom once you've passed the plants. This should explain all the strange terrain in the level that didn't seem to have any purpose. By the way, I can't speak for my friend, but I have reasons to believe that he got the idea for this puzzle from the crazy mushroom antics at the Bowser battle in most of the more recent SMW TAS's.

Yup very good. Also should have thought of that since I had the P-switch there and everything for the most part when I tested stuff. Now I don't get the credits I deserve :( Edit: Just to clarify, that's a joke. I don't deserve any credits.

After playing SCW up to World 3 Fortress (got stuck at the point where you had to fly with the key, I haven't mastered it at all yet), I do think that SCW would be an excellent TAS. I had to be creative with many of the levels just to pass them, such as the Yellow switch place, where you had to pick up 2 P switches at once (that's what happened to me anyway) just to process through the place. If anyone could do a full, 100% run of SCW, that would be amazing.

SMB Air doesn't have new graphics, and SDW:TLC only has additional graphics. So ALL two (it's two, right?) hacks of the site don't have completely new graphics. I think you should rethink your plan of attack here. That, or define what you mean by 'completely new graphics.'

Let's not forget that SCW has no ASM either. Absolutely none. And funguy10, you've said the other hacks (like Super Demo World) are boring, so I'm not sure why you're bringing them into the picture.

DK, I read it as DMG New Buzzy Beetle. Which made it even funnier of course. Anyway funguy10 and others, I don't think there are any SMW guys up for doing any of these games. Maybe Chef Stef might, I haven't talked to him, but I think the other guys are busy with other stuff.

SDW:TLC has graphics that are new to the game. SMB Air is just crap as said in it's discusion forum. One of the only speedruns I didn't enjoy watching.
