Submission Text Full Submission Page
Hello everyone!
This is my speed run of Super Mario Bros.
Air hack. And hope you like it!
This is my first TAS movie I have done.
And here is the submission for the movie.
Submissions: - Aiming for the fastest time
- Abuses programming errors in the game
- Getting hit to save time
- Uses Warps
- Taking no death
- Game genre puzzle and platform
Here is the time list.
Air 1-1 Time: 341
Air 2-1 Time: 622
Air 2-2 Time: 092
Air 3-1 Time: 664
Air 3-2 Mario is sleepwalking on this level.
Air 3-3 Time: 455
Air 4-1 Time: 471
Air 4-2 Time: 480
Air 4-3 Time: 646

Bisqwit: I don't know why you submitted this, considering that you already knew that Shinryuu managed to beat your times. Well, in any case, I'm rejecting it. Please don't resubmit for this game, because a TAS for this game won't be accepted unless it's somehow exceptional (which I don't see being possible). (Edit: removed a portion of the statement.)

Obsoletes the demostration movie by Genisto's Walkthrou for all levels on Air
No, it does not. (First, the goals are different, and second, it is not up to you decide what obsoletes what especially when the goals are different.)

So, are we gonna see a new submission with the known improvements aiming for SPEED?

Yeah it might be worth clarifying that such a run WOULD be considered, as long as it didn't contain known improvements, according to Bisqwit. If people felt it was a more worthy representation of the game, it would be published. Bisqwit wasn't too clear on that when he edited the rejection note, so I figured I'd tell you DMTM. Good luck.
