The game can be completed without any suits. Though you'll need plenty of energy tanks and ammo for Crystal Flashes.

Gee, when I saw the topic I thought you were talking about the "JUSTIN BAILEY" (armorless Samus) ROMhack. I'd like to see someone do a speedrun with that; using the patched ROM doesn't seem to work for movies made with the regular ROM. (On ZSNES anyway) You can get the hack at Zophar's Domain.

Ontop of that, I think it would be MUCH more entertaining to see a 14% run than a suitless run. As a suitless run you would be going out of your way to get LOTS items just to survive going through lava.
