Submission Text Full Submission Page
Played with Snes9x 1.502.
The movie lasts 16 minutes which seems slower because of emulation accuracy ++ but it's, in fact, faster.
Doesn't aim for fastest real time. In-game clock only.
Times marked with an asterisk mean it is faster than published version.

Thanks to adelikat, it motivates me to improve my older run. :P j/k
He said that he wants to improve it. ;) But not now since he is too lazy. I also, especially, thank Samurai Goroh for motivating me and finding the dizzy counter memory adress, 7E092B.

Bisqwit: Updated file.

I don't know how this game has been looked at before, but why are some of the times that you listed in your submission text faster than the ones that show in the run?

Because there are some bug on Bisqwit site. If you send a file with same filename that exists on his site, it will use the old file. :S. That sucks. I am 100% sure I didn't send my old file since it's been erased. Edit: Btw, if you would have used 1.502, you wouldn't be able to play this wrong file since it's incompatible. Edit2: Now, I am not 100% sure if I sent the correct file. It's just that I got confused by someone that told me this situation happen too. It seems, somehow, that I have a copy of my old version on desktop zipped as Super Punch-Out!! (U).zip. I always put files that I will send on my desktop. I don't understand why it was there since I didn't even needed that file before/while/after working my run. In other words, that sucks :S

I can't play this either (I'm assuming for the reason's Phil stated). Is 1.502 supported by this site now though?

Nice improvements. I particularly found the Bald Bull strat unexpected. Yes vote from me.

I think there are many reasons to not support Snes9xw 1.502: It's buggy all-around despite having more accurate timing, its movies aren't compatible with anything else, and the next version (1.51) is a lot more stable (and even more accurate), and seems to be already done and hopefully won't take too much longer to finish the documentation/etc. and release it.

Submission files do not have a filename collision possibility. Publications may have.

I didn't encounter major problems while doing this run. The only thing that I had noticed is that the movie desync when playing it twice. But it also happened with 1.43 and probably will in 1.51 (I hope not).

Didn't knew you where working on this game again, Phil. Congratulations :) *Goes to search for the Snes9x 1.502 to be able to watch it... Edit: Sparta?! This is Madness! I liked when you used the waiting time to evade at high speeds. It's obviously a Yes vote for me :)

I've watched it. Even though there are noticeable errors, it is still an interesting movie.

That was a little subversive jab, since the author has said similar things without really providing evidence.

Exactly, but in my case, it is true. While hero of the day does have hurting intentions (Which failed).

Can't nobody take my pride Can't nobody hold me down, oh no I got to keep on movin' Do you know if all the strategies used here are possible on SNES9x 1.43? Or do some have benefits from different timing between the emulator versions? (A simple yes/no will do; no evidence is necessary. Just treat it like any other claim you make.)

Entertaining. I vote yes. Though it did take a while to find the new version of the emulator. Whats up with that? 100th.

I think there was a desync in there somewhere. Either that or it took you 3 minutes to lose to Bear Hugger. :P Going to watch again. Edit: found out the reason. 1.51 desyncs. 1.502 does not. I thought the second one was the one I was downloading from the link. Apparently not.
